Hi Guys,

Not sure if anyone of you had this problem before.
I got Google home + Broadlink Rm pro
With voice command activated for tv fan aircon and so on. And i know it was so much fun

I recently reboot my router
And of course i set back according to my last wifi name and pass to prevent anything for my setup.
However after i set up router.
I lost those voice and act command.

With ihc scene apps
1. Yes. I m able to run all switches

With google apps
1. There is an answer from google. But no ir being transmitted out from broadlink

May i know what should i do?
I tried :
Delete broadlink connection in google home
Add in broadlink devices back
Create routine such as activate tv
Point action to broadlink scene activate tv
But all zero.

Can I check if you’re using and iOS or android device when setting up?

There is no neutral wire going to the TC2 switch to begin with so you cant get true feedback of the state of the switch.

On IHC app, for TC2 switches, there is no indicator for OFF and ON. So you will not know the state of the switch.

On Google Home app, you will see an indicator for OFF and ON but it will not tell you current state of switch. Only when you turn ON, you will see "greenish yellowish glow" to the indicator. If you turn OFF the switch physically or using IHC app or any other method, it will still remain 'ON' on Google Home app cos its not a true feedback indicator.

As for this statement, if you say off the light, it will off the light regardless of what state it is in. If you say on the light, it will on the light. It will not toggle off/on.

Hi, I am new to all this and have recently set up RM Pro+ to use the lamp templates for all my devices, cos I understand Google Home can only "see" lamp templates from IHC.

However, most devices use the same RF frequency for the on and off functions.

So when I say "turn off the light", it will turn "on" the light instead if the previous light state is already "off".

So I did some reading and found this forum.

Would you know if TC 2 can positively feedback it's off/on state to Google Home through IHC?

Really frustrated, i can set up lamp in IHC and google home can see it. But no matter how many time i create the air con, google home will never see it. Why why why.

I did some testing and found that if I try to use the air-con template and "self-learn" buttons, this device will not show up in Google Home.

But if I used the aircon template and go through the setup using their "setup without remote" and by choosing one of the 50 IR libraries, the created "air con" can actually show up in Google home.

However, with that, though my aircon can now be controlled with Google Voice, it can't be set to "Econo" mode as I cannot find an IR code from the library that will power on the aircon with "Econo" mode.

Actually, before check out, cooling down, I only purchase the 3 items deal package, 1 dual gang switch, motion detector & magic cube switch. Total 6 devices.

After all replacement done, anyone willing to absorb my old BroadLink?

i tried re-adding them and got a chinese prompt saying device cannot be populated

Yesterday updated to latest e-control version from appstore prompt and encounter same issue. Today found another new update and no more issue after updating. Using ios

Yes, same thing. Their update last night had a bug. This morning update rectified it. Anyway, all these updates are for compatibility issues with iOS 12. My advice is to turn your auto update off, and try not to update your e-control and IHC app until a few weeks down the road. Basically there is zero added functionality to the respective apps anyway, so there is no rush to update as soon as possible.

ya iOS auto updates everything when connected to WiFi
now 1 of my Yoogee switch does not work via e-Control
i deleted and now cannot add back. even i restore my old backup file also cannot work.

Only Lamp templates can be seen by GH. You can use the Lamp templates to set up TV. Aircon, etc, just need to learn the buttons accordingly.

I think the lamp limitation was the past already.. now U can set up your device remote accordingly no need to just keep to lamp..

once your device remote setup is complete, you can just create a scene for one action/or chain of actions via IHC. after that GH will actually natively be able to search and activate any scene you have created. let's say you created a scene and named it as "lower a/c temperature", you just need to tell your Google assistant to Activate, "Name of Scene". in this case it would be, "hey google, activate lower a/c temperature". your Google assistant should then trigger your broadlink remote to activate the scene and google assistant will reply, "ok, lower a/c temperature activated".

if you want to customise the key word and/or google assistant's response, then just go to your Google home app -> Routines to create the commands and choose the scene accordingly.

use the adjust scene option and your scenes that are created in your IHC app should all be here.

IHC can link up to GH to voice control the TC2 light switches. Do not assign the TC2 switches to any room in GH.
