I have cancelled my booking with Prudential Hotel in view of the staircase and escalator which may not be convenient for my mom.. And I have 2 more people joining me..
I'd chosen Hotel Cityview instead. But the cons are without swimming pool & gym..

I need advise on my itinery though and hope any kind soul will help..

Day 1
Reach HKIA 12.40pm, so I assume will reach hotel at 2pm for check-in.. After drop bag, I plan to go for afternoon eat at any cha chan teng nearby. And then will go to Ting Ting agency to buy tickets..
4pm, take cab to big Buddha, have vegetarian around 5pm and come down by cable car.. Is this possible? After that, will shop at tung chung outlets..
9pm take cab back hotel and find a place to eat supper

Day 2 is Hong Kong national day.. Should I plan to go macau today or next day?

Day 3 - early morning go ocean park.. 5pm will go to Victoria peak from ocean park by cab.. Is this possible? Will visit Madame Tussaud's as well.. 9pm take pram down to central and take cab back hotel.

Day 4 - go Wong tai sin temple in the morning, after that go Times Square walk walk.. Then back hotel prepare to go airport at 2pm. Flight depart at 6.50pm

Since my day 2 is national day, I wonder should I go macau or should I go ocean park on day 2.

For macau, I plan to go in early morning, can finish the ah ma temple, Ruins of St. Paul, KamIam Statue, Fisherman’s Wharf, Venetian Casino in the morning? After lunch I plan to go zhuhai for the underground shopping.. Then back hk around 8pm.. Anyone done macau and zhuhai within 1 day?

A HK holidayand weekend is not good for going to Macau. It gets really crowded. Same for theme parks.

Your Macau itinerary is very packed. Concern is for your mom as there's a lot of walking involved. Suggest you modify as needed.

For day 4 suggest you stay in Kowloon. Going to causeway bay and back takes away unnecessary time. There's lots of malls. For shopping easier to go Festival Walk at Kowloon Tong. Much nearer.

Yah.. I didn't know my day 2 is national day until my colleague remind me.. But too late because I have bought the air ticket.. Just hope Hong Kong national day china people won't rush in, I think china is not having holiday for that right?

For Macau, I think maybe I will go to ah ma temple, ruins of St. John and Venetian hotel only.. After lunch then cross over to ZhuHai for shopping, cos my sister wishes to go..

Got too many places to go and yet too little time..

I wonder if buying ticket from ting ting travel agent will take long time or just 10-15 mins.. Because if needed to waste too much time there, most probably I wil buy online in SG..

yes, hongkong is very crowded during the weekends especially at theme parks and macau. Don't go to anywhere that you need to queue. It is very very scary.

Actually the big Buddha is very close to Hong Kong airport, it will be better if you can visit Big Buddha before going to your hotel..
There are lockers at the citygate shopping mall at Tung Chung but they are very popular so taken up quite fast.

I also prefer to take bus to hotel, no need transfer and not that boring.
Actually even if they can't walk a lot, still can take the MTR for long distance.
They can sit and enjoy the scenery and enjoy local life.
My mum feels more secure and happier on bus and train, then taxi at times.
Do not have to worry about money and the credibility of the taxi driver.

If you going with elderly so you have to take note, they get tired easily.
so afternoon rest will do them good.
They don't walk as fast and stamina is limited.

My parents love going to hua yuen street and markets so I make sure I include that in my itinerary.

There is this Sang Kee Congee which is very good and near cityview hotel.
Can try it out.

If i go big buddha from airport around 1pm, and spend 2 hours there and another 2 hour shopping at Tung Chung, i go back to airport around 5pm to take the transport back to hotel. Is this advisable?

Another thing, since my day 2 is Hong Kong National Day, should i go Macau or should i go Ocean Park during the holiday?
I don't have much choice, so must choose either day to go either one.

Actually you can leave your luggage at hk airport before you set off for Tung Chung. Can cab there too, is only 5-10minutes away.
But do eat at the airport before setting off to Tung Chung as food selection there is limited.

I never take the cable car but 2 hours seems bit short for a meal and some sightseeing plus cable car ride.
Personally, not a fan of citigate except the big supermarket at the basement.

I don't remember how ocean park is like because I been there donkey years ago. Hope this help

MAybe can skip the sightseeing and just bring your mum around hongkong and try the traditional tea house, take the ting ting tram and just go around, go to hua yeun street.

No matter where, you still have to take care of your belongings. Losing anything important will spoil the mood of the whole trip.. never leave your luggage unattended, i leave my parents at benches or some place comfortable to guard my luggage if I need to go run some errands like buy MTR cards or tickets.

There's a Republic - yes, looks like SG's Republic - foodcourt in CityGate aka Tung Chung. I normally have my lunch there during my visits, always at the Macau food counter.

It's quite a nice place to do leisure shopping, might pick up a couple of discounted branded wear along the way. I also like to exit at one end of the building that leads to an open space, where one can view their surrounding sights and very tall condos.

Few years back, my group spent the whole morning in Lamma Island, hiking from one village to another, before heading back to HK after lunch.

Hop from Lamma ferry to Macau ferry and got there late afternoon. By the time we're back in HK, showered and went looking for dinner, it's 2am.

Just check the house of dancing water ticket.. It's so expensive around sgd130.. Too ex so Will not go for the show, so will go Venetian for a walk n take some pictures only..

Please note that you need to clear HK immigration before boarding the ferry to Macau as you're considered departing from HK. On your return you need to clear HK immigration. Need to fill in a new white card.

Another option is to travel direct from Hkia to Macau after my arrival?
My flight touches down at 12.15pm, it should be safe to take 2pm ferry from skypier right?

But i will need to store my luggages at Macau ferry terminal, is the arrival and departure hall the same? Because I will need to retrieve the luggages when I take ferry back to hk hotel cityview.

Also, anyone know the luggages storage charges at Macau ferry terminal?

Sound like a busy first day.
If your mum can nap on planes or ferry, then is fine.
If not, they may not have the stamina for a whole day out even if it does not involve a lot of walking.
