Early thoughts for new rig

ya i know doraemon.. i got stuff from him before.. i will most prob get some of e stuff from him also.. for e gpu, maybe i install everything then see how it goes.. if e sagging is bad n i cannot resolve, then will see whether e gpu support can work

but get from amazon, no warranty, no? if RMA how?

warranty must send to taiwan if u buy EVGA iirc. other brands i dunno. my PSU is from amazon, no issues here.. ram and ssd NEVER doa from my experience so far

Well its actually to protect the mobo pci-e from breaking it instead of making the GTX looks slanted

That is cheap imo.. Its an oem version of the upcoming 960 pro, I got my 950 pro 256gb at $220+ from amazon

hmm i realised that e first link i posted was e PM961, not e SM961 which is here actually:

from what i read, there might be firmware issues cause samsung does not release updates for OEM parts? i know e speeds are different, but i mean more like firmware updates as mentioned

i'll be honest, i switch from 840 evo (SATA3) to 950 pro(m.2 with nvme), no difference in real world usage, boot up is + - equally fast (in fact my 840evo boot faster on windows 7 vs my 950 pro on windows 10).

when installing apps, opening apps, no difference also, click already the app instantly open

true.. save money now.. next time when e games can really make use of e m2 transfer rates n e prices go down somemore, at least i still have a mobo that can slot one in, no?

well so far ssd or hdd does not affect much during game play beside loading lol

so even if u buy a pci-e m2 your game still going at the same speed lol.

as games is still heavily rely on cpu, gpu and ram for those things.

ok so i was thinking about this last night - usually e phanteks case has a nice positive airflow due to 2 intakes n 1 exhaust fan

however, if i install an A80 at the top as exhaust, wont that change the airflow to be negative? any bros here with e case n AIO cooler can give advice?

For me I'm using a microatx case >>>
I have a radiator with push pull config at the front as intake, 1 exhaust at the back and 2 fans at the top as exhaust also, my temps are around 30-40 when playing games

true la, but negative airflow in case means e air will also enter from other openings other than e intake fans covered with filters, means more dust going in mah

Dust is bo bian 1 bah, unless u redesign ur room into a quarantined lab lo once in awhile take hair dryer blow bah, thats what I do
