Nuclear reactor floating in the sea, no worries.
I did a google searched the answers below:
AI Overview

Yes, there have been and are proposals and some implementations of nuclear reactors built on or in the sea, but they are not common for large-scale commercial power generation.

If SG building it don't think those built on the sea can generate the power that we needs. Just my thought.

Since when Jb have earthquake zone
Intraplate quake. Very rare - but there was a big one in the Drake Passage just a few days ago.
These happen where there are no active fault lines. If Singapore got hit by a quake, it would be classified as one of these. They can get fairly large, and can be very damaging because they are typically shallow - this one is 10km depth - and hit regions unprepared for quake damage.

The worse part it’s Johor the state closest to sg. This means sg next time got chance for earthquake. But megaquake is still Low
Absolutely. There is always a chance for earthquakes. There are documented ancient fault lines running through Singapore. If you go trekking you can actually see them. Or not. My memory fails me.

The history recorded of earth quake in this region is not very clear.
Singapore island only less than 200 years history when civilization surface.
Before that era . Think nobody record or give account of any natural disasters happen.
