hi!

you should pat yourself dry from sweat after excessive activity and never scratch them that might lead to more scratching and make your skin more sensitive.

can eczema down pes?

been seeing dermatologist and they prescribed me steroid ointment for my feet, but wearing boots whole day for 5 days a week plus sweat a lot, blisters just kept popping out one by one on the edges and mid sole of my feet.. very unbearable..

any way to get my spec to write a good memo for me?

hi!
how about not wearing boots for a while , to allow your feet to heal.
so that you can also tell what are the effects of the cream prescribed for you.

That's what my specialist have been telling too, but have to seek approval from my camp's mo first... But is it allow to see both NSC and a public hospital skin dept at the same time?
Will they be able to see each other records regarding my skin?

Din know there's such a thread. I have urticaria, IMO worse than eczema. The dryness is really bad. Currently I have this localized spot that has a little swelling. Just share my treatment methods. I use pine tar oil and apply it (diluted) before bathing. They recommend bathing in it but I won't be caught dead smelling like that! For moisturizer, nothing works liow so I use a QV one that is basically petrolatum aka Vaseline. I discovered this cream in Australia when I was there in winter when the regular cream is useless. Only trouble is its super oily so it works well on small parts. It's really not meant to be used all over the body.

My doc says that the whole idea is to remove all the dead skin and try to normalize the growth rate of the skin cells.

I suffer from eczema since young and I got them all over my hands and legs. Not only did it itch badly, the open wounds were unsightly and you know it was hard growing up especially when classmates and their parents avoid you like a plague. It didn't do anything to help my self esteem while growing up.

Most of the ones which was on my hands slowly vanished when I hit puberty and those on my legs receded to where long socks can cover and bits on my inner thighs. At least I was able to hide what I suffer from. I've seen doctors and all they did was to offer ointments which didn't really do much apart from just moisturize and soothe the itch.

PE in school and showering in the army were traumatic since classmates and camp mates would always question my wounds. I could almost sense that some were talking behind my back and some avoided being close to me probably thinking that I could spread it to them.

In the past, I used to go down to my market in shorts but when a neighbor saw my eczema and was questioning me in her loud voice about them, I decided to short wearing shorts outside the house. Good thing she forgets things very fast.

While in Malaysia, I happened to enter a pharmacy and ask if they had anything for my eczema and introduced to Hoe's beprosalic ointment and after a week or so of application, a some of my eczema began to subside. After a year of application, it has reduced to a very smaller portion made up of very stubborn eczema wounds. I guess it did all it could. Now it is just to manage what remains, keep it moist and endure the itch as far as I can.

Now I am trying to weed out harmful chemicals from anything I apply on my skin.

Eczema is not something I wished on even my worst enemies. It is something long term and perhaps life long and I can understand what it is to go through it.

as different people have different skin, there are quite a number of products out there to try. here are some of them based on what I have encounter so far:

Currently, I am trying Salcura DermaSpray Intensive and using in conjunction with Salcura Zeoderm. works okay for now in my case. Available at selected Watsons and Guardian pharmacy.

Another product is QV flare up cream and wash. only available at polyclinic pharmacy. didn't try before as it is quite hard to grab hold of. :s22:

There is this Dr Mist that also works fine as well. I can't seems to find this multipurpose product in pharmacy. :s22:

Hi, it's been awhile since I posted here. In the meantime, I've gotten many texts from different people who's read my forum. I have previously recommended TCM treatments as well as bioresonance therapy.

I'll just re-state my stand here - I'm here to help people from my experience and long struggle with this disease. I've gone through test and trial with food, both oral and topical steroid, TCM medicine as well as therapy. I also have been through various stages of the eczema period including topical withdrawal period to the extend healing phase.

I can educate you a little and provide some knowledgable tips on what's going wrong with your body. And no, I'm not medically certified or affiliated but I can just tell you stay the hell off steroids. Almost all the people who's contacted me have had their eczema worsened by steroids.

Eczema can be treated and controlled when the onset is still in its early stages and has not been treated with steroids (oral or topical). Certain dietary changes or lifestyle changes or environmental tweaks can actually help improve your condition. More often than not, it's the lavish lifestyle that people have - oily, salty processed, sweet, acidic food (dairy, sugar, wheat, all-meat) that's been causing the onset of eczema. Compounded with long working hours and fondness for cold t drinks, it's of little wonder why our body systems are in great disarray. If you aren't aware, the optimal pH for our bodies is at 7.5. The more acidic it is, the likelier the body succumbs to diseases and viruses.

Lately, I also wish to share about this deer placenta pills that's really helped to speed up my recovery process. My skin has reached new heights, it's almost akin to seeing normal supple skin take over again. The pills are quite costly but they have proven to work in at least 5 people I personally know. Few of them are eczema patients but the pills have been known to work for other people with other ailments such as sleeplessness as well.

Again if you're interested, do SMS me at 81003255. I do not charge a single cent for all the knowledge that I share and on tops, I'm putting my traceable number on the Net. My only objective is to help people cope with the disease and hopefully rectify it before it gets worse.

There is no mention of guarantee but I do have photos to back up the improvement that I've constantly been referring to. I can say I've at least spoke to more than 20 or 30 people, texting them and speaking with each and every of them over the phone for over 20 minutes. Just reiterating one final time that I'm not profiting from any of this and if you have to have a justification, then I'll say that I'm only trying to make sense of my suffering by helping others through the suffering I went through.

Thank you for reading.
Cheers

To drumsolo86:

Hey, i think you have good intentions. In fact, i was one of the people who messaged you and you directed me to the Dr Ong's clinic, and i did go for TCM sessions for about 2-3 months. However in the end, after finding the TCM treatment too expensive, i am healing on my own without all your recommendations of TCM, magnetic resonance, dietary restrictions etc.

Personally, i wouldn't recommend all these because they have no scientific basis, but the phenomenon of steroid addiction is well documented is medical literature. Some people react very differently to steroid addiction and take years to heal, and i feel that you may be unintentionally psychologically harming some people by promising people a cure.

If you find TCM medicine expensive you're not going to like my recommendation of the pills. I have not mentioned anywhere that it is a guaranteed cure. Compared to many people who are still experimenting with new soaps and still taking immunosuppressants, I can tell you this much - they still have not gotten to the root of the problem.

I have never promised a cure but only sharing with them my experience over the past 10 years. If you think you have something more constructive than that, then by all means I'll like to hear what you have to say.

Btw, you must be kidding when you tell me you don't recommend something if they have no scientific basis. You are completely clueless as to how many patients get well from the TCM clinic or the bioresonance therapy.

So are you saying that steroids medicine which are scientifically proven are the cure? You know the mess that other clinics and therapy centres have to clean up because of the shitload of steroids the bloody NSC and the Western clinics dish out everyday?

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls,

if nothing else has worked for you so far, you may want to google "apple cider vinegar eczema" (angmo method) and "米醋 湿疹" (rice vinegar, tiongkok method). Can apply, bathe or ingest. Many pple have had great results from these. Pple usually turned to them when the steroids dun work.
And one way of using is to mix the apple vinegar with baking soda. (google "baking soda eczema" also)

Worked like magic for my wife who didn't get good results from elomet, geristone(?), dermasone, dermaxxx, etc.. and the whole host of apalah steroids. Somemore the doctors are usually very ngiao ji about prescribing more at each visit. Didn't work for me, though, but my case is too minor to bother me. May not work for everyone, but if it does for you, huat ah, no more spending tons of money on steroids, and no more sticky, greasy, toxic creams that smear on your clothes and everything in your house. Oh, all of them u can find in ntuc.
