I would advice you to keep some $$ in SGD tho. Dont bring most of it over.. AUD has been depreciating
We need to purchase land in Australia. Australia deposit interest rate is higher also. Should be able to make up for the depreciation.

And I have passive income going into my Singapore bank account every month. So would prefer to bring almost all over to Australia for now.

Do you guys transfer money from SG to Aus?

What's the cheapest way to do so besides bringing cold hard cash?

My mum used to send via TT decades ago. Was going to do a bank transfer but am also looking at transferring using Wise. Still quite alien to Wise.
Use wise or instarem. Basically u paynow in sg then you set to transfer to your australia westpac anz or whatever account

U have to set up recipient with bank and account number first, either bsb or whatever.

Then just do a test transfer of like $20 or sth if u scared

This is not via Wise ya? Or how can this be done via Wise?

Wise has better rates as compared, after adding up the fee (agent fee for the bank).
It's done on the wise website, you store your SG and AU bank details and you can set one of them as your destination when sending money.

It'll generate a QR code for paying by PayNow if you want to use that.

I read another thread recently a number of singaporeans returning from aussie and overseas... Wonder why...
Cos SG is the best place to be rich make money have high income better quality of life.

Overseas low pay high tax no money to spend need to spend on credit card. Owe money never ending debt. SG not brought up to do this type of finance way
