anyone can share what u cook for ur dog meal?
i mean home cook food?

vegetables depends sometimes carrots sometimes broccoli sometimes greens

my dog 3 to 11year old right leg weaker because of patella luxation (kneecap loose)
recently past 11 birthday .... now left leg also lose strength .... both vibrate when standing

deteriorate jin fast

What grade is it?

If low grade then usually I wont recommend intervention but if bad grade then early intervention can prevent early age onset of arthritis

dunno what grade of her condition
she had it since 3yr old ... after she recover herself, not serious ...
she prefer to put less weight on that leg when washing feet or shower

now is old dog , will let her be whatever come

the thing is like tht

one week ago
my dog vomit... (i check his vomit got red red de.. i suspect is blood) so i bring him to clinic (24 hour one, so ex le), upon reach the clinic. He LS blood there.

the vet was worry so ask me to put him there.. he stay there for 4 days (1 day $80+).

he is on drips & antibiotics becos pancreatic positive

During the stay they did
x-ray (Found nth)
blood test (full blood count) (major body part are normal)
UltraSound Scan (FOC) (found nth but spotted he had a lot of gas)
med ba ba ba.

he check out liao. And before he check out i ask for allergies blood test, to see what is he allergies on $400+.

Vet dunno what really happen. They suspect blockage but found nth on x-ray and ultransound scan. No sure isit his too stomach sensitive?

My dog was on raw diet (k9 natural)

at the moment i put him on Home cook food first ba

Pancreatitis in dog can be due to obstruction of the common bile duct which I suspect is the reason why the vet did the ultrasound. More often than not, the cause of pancreatitis is due to consumption of fatty food.

Dog pancreas is not like humans, we metabolize fats quite well but dogs dont so with too much fat in diet it may cause pancreatitis. The treatment to that is simply cut out excessive fat in diet and use a dry food diet you are comfortable with for me that will be W/D Hill's dry food.

Also the pancreas does not take too kindly to injuries and your pet may be at risk for developing more pancreatitis or diabetes in the future.

My guess is you have been feeding alot of fatty food to your dog and the pancreatitis was the last straw...

treats dont look fat.. my dog also not overweight.. around 7.5kg.. althought vet say he slightly fat

Vets use body condition scoring system as a way of determining how fat your pet is. I may say "your dog is in a healthy weight" but what I am really saying is "your dog is in a good body condition". If you think about it a good weight for chihuahua will be unacceptable for a great dane.

Anyway, even if your pet is not fat it could still be sensitive to the fat in diet. I'd say cut out the treats and just put on dry food diet only, boiled chicken breast meat can make a good treat as it is very low fat

He very picky on food le. I got buy the hill can food. He don't like at all. I change from dry to raw, still LS.
Think of putting him on home cook food with a bit of supplements. Headache.

Picky eater are not born, they are made by years of conditioning.

If you dont set rules for your dog, they will do it for you. What I can suggest is tough love, set down the prescribed food for 15 mins at the same time each day and if he doesnt eat, take it away. Keep doing it for a few days and let him starve
