Any good vet to recommend please? By definition of good means above average clinical knowledge/experience, a heart for the furry patients and charge reasonable fees.
I have followed Dr Brian Loon from ARVC to his clinic Ambervet.
Recent experience would be with Dr Gwenda Lowe when she was still with Ambervet earlier this year. She is now with Brightonvet, I am not sure about the fee though.
As my doggie is a mongrel who is diabetic and during CNY, he has acute kidney failure. Dr Lowe was patient and she would advise on what we can do to save cost and also can sense her love for animals and does not have less regard for a mongrel.
Hope your furkid's condition is under control now.
Mine is a long term control.
Daily dosage of insulin and liquid therapy, and only home cook food on special recipe.
Other than these, he is a happy boy.
Hope the vet recommendation helps for your case. You looking for one for normal routine checks or any specific issue?
I am actually looking for a 'holistic' vet for my new puppies. My late furry girl of 13 years crossed over to the rainbow bridge after fighting liver cancer for more than 7 months. Her regular vet since her youth days started as a very passionate and caring vet with good medical skills. However, the last few sessions with the vet gave me an impression that the vet became rather 'commercial', charge high fees and without that human touch, especially when she was critical at a night in february. In an emergency, I had no choice but went to another vet, who is caring, not focus just on $$$ but regrettably, average medical skills.
I have did some search online on Dr Gwenda and the comments are very positive in all areas. I will most probably bring my pups to her and hope she will maintain such good practice down the road, even after she become the popular vet one day.
Thanks for sharing and my regards to your boy too.
hi guys, got a quick question - am living in a HDB and contemplating getting a crogi. Understand that that is not an approved breed for HDB. Just wanna check, is there anyone here that has managed to get the required approval?
Thanks.

I wrote in to HDB to get approval for my corgi before I forward the permission to Ava to license him. You can try that too.
3mth?
some dog take more than mth to train correct.. be patient
some dog wont go back same spot to pee again once there is pee
r u using pee tray?
Used to train my puppy to use pee pad as well, but she will pee on carpets. So now just doing crate training instead, most reliable one, don't have to forever use pee pad as well.
