The problem is all these football stars deliberately run down their contract to negotiate a better deal with their new clubs. This takes away the opportunity for the clubs to recuperate some money. I think most rational fans would rather him be sold 1 year ago for some money. All these stuff about love for their clubs cannot compare with their love for money
