I intend to work full time until 55 then after that do part time work. Or else nothing to do very sian one. At least part time still get to connect with society then the rest of the time do own hobbies and interest.

I work one day a week and then ad hoc work if have on Mon to Thurs. Very flexible if want to go hiking skiing or travel. Don't have to take leave. The one day a week "commitment" is hard for me to say is "too much".

kena retrenched last year. staying as a single 51yo, no wife, no car, no own house, no kids, surviving on bank interests and some dividends, play path of exile and delta force. eat cai png sometimes DTF or sushiro.
simple man living simple life.

One strategy is to build up your portfolio amount via growth investing.

When the portfolio amount has become more substantial, divest to invest in dividend.

Dividend investing will constrain the total portfolio potential... especially when it needs a good amount of capital for noticeable returns.

Yup, what's what I did

Now more focused on dividend stocks vs growth stocks but I will buy some once in while for that "long shot"
