single then all in this and that. Set up IG and tell others how they did it.

Most of the time is lucky from inheritance, all in or from high paying jod. Fastest will be from no.2.

Nice place. Did my honeymoon in Vancouver many many years ago.
Spent a week on the Alaska cruise; 2 weeks driving from vancouver, victoria and all the way up to jasper and drove back. Went down seattle. Those days were good, way before the slums start appearing.

You visited the Rockies as well? Banff? Lake Louise? Columbia Icefields Parkway?

Yup. Canadian rockies. Lake louise is in banff. Very beautiful place, but hotels were ex. Columbia icefields parkway, you get to sit on those touristy transport with giant wheels and they move along the glacier. He landscape is stunning. I think in terms of natural scenery, Canadian rockies is there with the best.

I live in Calgary which is about an hour's drive from Banff. Canadian Rockies is my playground. Hiking, kayaking, skiing.

The Icefields Parkway is one of the most scenic drives to take.

We are very fortunate to live in such a beautiful place. In fact I think we are spoiled.

When I travel and see other scenery it somehow doesn't quite match up to what we have "at home".

Actually not just Banff and Columbia icefield parkway. The whole drive from Vancouver to columbria icefield has many scenic views and also wildlife. Got many views of different lakes. It is a wild countryside. Stayed mostly in best western and sandman. Very good experience

Yes it's a beautiful place!

My wife often tells me why bother traveling to other countries when we have all this nearby. The mind can't really differentiate between a trip to far away beautiful places vs nearby beautiful places.

I took a short flight to Victoria over the weekend to see the sea. Victoria has a small town feel. Chill vibes. But I would probably find it too slow for me to live there.

If got time and want a different experience, can try
1. NZ south island
2. Swiss alps ( grindalwald, matterhorn) , but food is bad, things are ex in the country

I have been to NZ.

There's still so much to explore locally for us.

I travel overseas more for culture and cuisine. Not scenery.
