First 30 days cannot terminate nor port out otherwise got to pay penalty don't know how much. So by 2nd month you'd have been charged as well.

eight upload speed itself is pretty slow, that is why it's laggy. Sometimes when i do speedtest, it's always 2mbps. Simba upload is much faster.

yup you are right. If you are doing lot's of upload and gaming (Latency), starhub and eight will not be a good option. Download speed is generally fine for eight and starhub

I went there on sat 1+pm, line port over on Sunday morning

Ok it is true open on Sat, I am the duck rice.

Terminated one of the 2 trial sim was completed in 30mins, sign up new one and port in process started.

Ever since i ported in to Eight, i cannot receive any OTP from other vendors, banks, services at all. I can only receive OTP from Eight without problems. I know it is weird, I do not have any explanation for this too. I checked that there are no sms blocklist as well. I do not know how to fix this issue and there are no service hotlines to call.

No one else having issues with NOT receiving OTP from other services?

Phone default setting is disabled roaming , maybe he always frequent jb, forget turnoff

Ported how many days already? If just yesterday it's normal. It will resume after a few days

Can receive SMS from other lines? Calls and data and sending SMS no problem?

It's just Auto Roaming, not Data Roaming. My data was set to the Simba line that didn't roam.

I tested with a few people. I am able to send and receive SMSes. No issues with data and calls. Just not receiving any OTP (except from Eight) at all..

I have been on Eight since Early July. This is my second month with Eight. It is a weird issue and many of my accounts cannot login due to this problem

Have you tried going to Ubi? Ubi seems to solve problems for a lot of people

My otp works since ported. No issue at all.
