I tested with a few people. I am able to send and receive SMSes. No issues with data and calls. Just not receiving any OTP (except from Eight) at all..
I have been on Eight since Early July. This is my second month with Eight. It is a weird issue and many of my accounts cannot login due to this problem

now I realised that I am unable to receive any OTP from Eight....I haven't really testing using this line for banks yet...

my line was port over earlier this week from circles...

Those with problem receiving OTP from backs might want to call to ensure that they've your correct number in their records. Especially if they're port over lines.

Do you mean call the banks or Eight or previous telco?

My number was ported in. Unless Eight screwed up the port over, i cannot find any other reasons why OTP cannot work anymore.
I had verified with the banks my number remains the same. They don't know why i cannot receive OTP either.

In certain countries the banks have record of the service providers too, and sometimes need to update.

No harm, I would give that a try too, since i ran out of ideas. But that also means i need to call all the services that uses sms otp? Lol. I am screwed if that's the case. In the past I had ported in circles, zym, giga, simba, and the 3 major telcos before. This is the first time i am gmha ing such issue. I even tried using a different phone, didn't work either

Is your phone redmi?

I used to have this problem with redmi phone. Check your sms and delete the message that is previously sent from your bank. Then try again and see if you receive the OTP.

May I know what phone you are using? If using Android phone, search for "aap.runals.pmgg.lite.oebnuyq" stop and uninstall this app, then restart your phone.
Few months back, my Poco F3 unable to receive any OTP due to this app. It was installed thru Xiaomi app store without any app icon.

do you have other spare phone? try it to rule out not phone issue. no harm.

I just realised I can’t receive international messages after i tried to do online transaction with my overseas card.
Can you guys received intl sms?
I asked my relative to send me sms from overseas, i could not receive. But simba can.

Nope. Same phone. asked relative to send me sms to both numbers. Simba can receive the sms from the same person, eight cannot.

I blocked overseas call and sms

it can be done over at andriod apps

this is going to sound hilarious

I used a Singtel number to SMS my newly ported eight number and it was fine

however if I used the eight number to message the Singtel number

it's showing the temporary number that was given to me
