You can also top up to your main balance using Lazada or shopee. I use Hock Mobile on Shopee. Only $7.40 for $8 main balance.

Didn’t run speedtest but doesn’t seem to be a big difference compared to 4G.

i think eight really got some OTP sms issue- was calling UOB hotline, the OTP only came in after my call ended (like 3 mins delay). Hope they can sort out their OTP backend

Just triggered OTP from UOB and HSBC SG.
Quite instant.

my normal bank OTP okay, instant. But if triggered from the call hotline, it only comes 3 mins later. Will have to monitor, maybe like bro said could be UOB sms app problem but this is the 1st time since Ive been with UOB more than 10 years liao.

yes, same here, i was with starhub for many years before i port to eight..and i got ppl commented "orang kaya spotted"

that was why when i saw eight launched and with this price plan, i faster port, mai tu liao

Eight upload speed is pretty slow, maybe use WiFi to upload this screenshot after switching in WiFi.

I reach home take screenshot of my phone post in forum for just sharing & someplace seems can get eight on 5G

I ported from Zym to Eight ($8 plan) on 22nd Aug. Everything works fine.

Now since Zym is giving 1000 mins I want to port out from Eight and port to Zym. So far I did not make any payment to Eight. Should I do a payment to Eight and then port out or should I port out without doing any payment?

I think this sub-forum "Mobile Communications Technology" is very toxic, people get intoxicated easily. Just like bicycle hobby, once you start, you get intoxicated easily with more and more parts coming.

Each telco changed it offerings, people port, people review it's good and people port. The other telco changed it offerings, people ports and people follows.
