Initially I gave vivifi benefit of doubt, supposed to port to zero1 both time failed. Then I thought ok zero1 cmi. I changed to eight. Also 2 times failed. 5th time gone thru coz vivifi system finally up.

If u not sure u shudnt put the blame on eight only, report vivifi also if you haven't.
I didn't put blame on eight. But their customer service really cmi. Vivifi also in doubt. Anyway I filed complain is to both of them.

Already said many times, this kind of cheap MVNO like Eight and Heya, expect to have zero customer service.

If the customer is the high maintenance type, they are better served elsewhere.

Apparently the best way to get a resolution (as a last resort) is to go down to their Ubi service centre.

Ya man. Kns. How can IMDA didn't emphasis on system integration test with all Telco before they roll out services.

Ah, so possibly a user problem then?

I wonder if this "lock" setting is turned "on" by default for new vivifi customers.

sorry, my bad, this "customer retention" feature was for C.L thankfully i ported out drama-free, a few years ago.
i wouldn't be surprised if it was enabled by default

i can't comment on Vivifi as I've not subscribed to them.

Is Vivifi not good for you? I thought they're on Singtel so the network should be quite good.
was on Vivifi 4G before porting to eight, underground MRT/certain areas in CBD- even my GOMO 5G (work line) has the same deadzone as vivifi 4G so totally no data at all. Thus, diversified to eight (tho really wanted to give zero1 a chance but their CS is worse than Vivifi lol)

You are right. Either vivifi or eight have problem but as a end user we shouldn't go and liaising between telco for their technical issue. Already filed a complaint to IMDA anyway.
Usually port in fail either donor telco not releasing, or ID mismatch.

In Malaysia they'd write to MCMC and miracles happen.

With all terms met, let's not let any telco get up to 🐒 business.

Porting in /out is our right, with all terms met. If you're unhappy that your port-out has been delayed without valid reason and worse, resulting in the new month's charge, let it be known to IMDA.

similar to my gomo porting out. unpleasant experience
Heng my Gomo port-out was smooth and prompt, though they're still sending me survey emails that I don't know how to reply. :look:

I simply delete all emails for surveys unless they pay me. I don't fill up surveys for free. It's a waste of my time.
