Is there anyone have issue to activate imessage with eight sim card? somehow it couldn't verify my phone number for imessage. Although i seldom use this imessage also, mostly use whatsapp or telegram.

I had received this message from them when I had issues with iMessage. And it worked for me. Let me know if it helps you too.

From eight, via email:
"
We have seen in very few certain scenarios if the temp number SIM is turned ON first before port-in complete, this may happen.

1. Please go to Settings > Phone > My Number > Key-in your number +6598XXXXXX (change it to the portin number) and press Save.
2. Go to Settings > Messages > iMessage > Toggle it to turn ON.
3. Go to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive > Select this number.
4. Sometimes it will be going in circles for about 24/48 hours, Apple takes around that time to register.

This should do the trick

Wednesday till now, your portin could have failed. You can check your portin status:

Thanks. It works after i reset my number on my apple account, verify it, tgen toggle back imessage on.

hmm i activate the port in yesterday [sunday] , currently still undergoing port-in [monday]

how long will it take ah? from circles

Usually if you activate in the afternoon of a weekday, port in will start at night on the same day and anecdotally, should complete by the next day

Last week checked with zym, they said there is no port out initiate by any MVNO at all, email eight and as usual no reply from them at all

as replied earlier.

you have to decide whether the risk is acceptable eg port in got problems and is not fully functional, esp if this is your primary line

if you decide the risk is acceptable, then roll the dice.
if the risk is not acceptable, stay on heya if it is not giving problems, or consider an MNO where you can call up their CS

It varies for person to person. Based on what people post here it’s usually activate on day 1, port in starts on same day and completes next day. There was one recent case where port in failed and eight was unable to resolve.

If already have 2 x free 88 days Super Eight plans, can we port over another number from another telco to replace one of these existing number? How to go about if can? Coz don't see porting in as an option when log in to Eight account

I did it with M1 Maxx, and cancelled 2 lines using this method.
