they said something we have been wanting. don't think rollover data. Now rollover data not so enticing, since the $8 plan already have 188gb and most people can't even use finish.

Time to give us 5G or international roaming
must be 5G or cheaper plans or senior plans ..

Yea eight sucks, don't port in please. Don't overload the network.
While this is mentioned in jest / with sarcasm (look it up if you have to), there is an element of truth in this.

MVNOs like Eight require a minimum level of intelligence, or "streetwiseness" if you prefer that term. To get the most out of Eight, you need to have initiative to solve any problems that may crop up and minimally read the FAQ.

If this doesn't fit your profile, please go elsewhere and don't congest our network. 🤣

Because the rest of the people here have not reply....
on a serious note, i posted an FR (field report) about my commute from work to home yesterday 02 Oct 2024 around 7pm ish on EWL eastern most to end of the tunnel station. It is the golden hour for data network to be non-responsive. yesterday's commute was quite bad to the point that I had to switch data to Simba. Yes, above ground also bad. Underground also bad.

I was back to work after 2 weeks hiatus, and the data performance really deteriorated.

as mentioned by @tanchoo1 , he mentioned that there are many of us using Eight, thus implying eight is good, maybe he does not use commute the way that I do.
You get the idea, eight can be great for someone like him because of different profile of commuting, workplace, and place of residence. Conclusion, you give it a try at your own risk see if eight works for you.

At your own risks because of the followings:
1. Multiple port-in failures. One of our member here has no service for close to two weeks and he resorted to Simba for temporary data needs.
2. Data performance deteriorated after COMEX. Many people signed up. Thus, causing the network to be very congested like Singtel where you have full signal strength but no internet connection.
3. Many of us are unable to receive International SMS. This is bad for me because I have overseas banking account, thus I have resorted to use my SIMBA number for the handphone number to receive SMS OTP.
4. My area sometimes network just dropped, completely no signal then it will come back again after a minute or two. This is annoying.

but too bad, I topped up until Christmas 2025 due to shopee (poison) top-up promo.

Dun just come in here and expect us to give you a hard-and-fast Yes or No.

I suggest you do some research first, which all of us did.

(Ok I did my best.)
