also same like you contemplating to switch liao...

I just signed up for Zym $10.10 plan. porting over from eight since their 4G speeds have dropped ever since they implemented 5G. Eight has been amazing for me especially for overseas roaming for the past 1 year. However local speeds seem to have slowed down significantly.

My experience between Simba and Zym is that Zym almost always have far better speed and latency, but Simba rarely had any situation where it simply fails, but I had a quite few instance for Zym.

This is on 5G for both. On 4G only Zym is much better.

Thanks, I'll stick to my Simba then.

Hello. I just signed up the $14.80 plan. Coming from ZYM. Anyone on 1 year plan? Or it is better to wait for their top up promo?

I am planning to switch back to Singtel MVNO once they open up their 5G SA.

A bit reluctant to pay almost double from $8 to $14.80, considering this eight line is my secondary line :(
I'd have considered if it's the $11.80 plan. For $14.80 I'd rather just stick to my $15+ ST plan.

I am considering my simba line to port over to Zym. Mainly to get better local 5G speed. Data Roaming is not very important to me for this line

why Zym may i ask. tks
For a couple of reasons
1) Since for the $10.10 plan they are offering 6 months of 5G connection for now and I would be happy and sufficient for me to be on 4G connection after 6th month anyways but if the 4G speed is really bad from then, then I guess i will jump again? haha.
2) Singtel MVNO's generally have better coverage and latency compared to Starhub's
3) If i were to stay for 1 year on this plan, it is effectively $5.05/month.
4) I also have another eight $8 plan which I will use for overseas. As eight's overseas roaming and IDD calls has worked seamlessly for me for 1 year. So I will pair with Zym for local usage (bonus that it also offers roaming data) seems the best combo for me personally.
