Just to confirm the payment setup.

So now I recharged $2 and now my main balance is $8.

And it also indicate that next recharge is $8 at say 15/11/25.

So to confirm eight will take from main balance then recharged from my CC subsequently? Tks

Having some issues in Taiwan from yesterday.
I have been in Taiwan for over a week.
Initially was working well, but from yesterday it's showing no signal (circle with a bar across)

When I restart or switch airplane mode, it'll have one or two bars of signal but after a minute or so it'll drop off completely.

I have tried removing the SIM card and replacing it. No difference.

Any ideas
Did you check if your plan expired ? or finish up your quota ?
Definitely not expired. Plenty quota left

As long as your main balance is more or equal to the plan charges, then it should be ok.

  • How will I be billed for my mobile plan?
The plan deduction will be based on wallet balance first and then the payment methods (Credit/ Debit) card that you added into the account. Login to eight account.
If your wallet has insufficient balance, the full amount will be charged to the Credit/Debit card linked to your account, as partial deductions from the wallet are not supported.

Similar to you, i topped up $5+ to make my balance 14.80 so that i can use the remaining credit in my main balance.
Renewal is on 7 or 8 Nov, so i shall see...

Seems like your SIM registration with the local telco was denied or something...

Had this same experience when my overseas roaming was working in the morning then in the afternoon died for the entire day... totally no bar or full bar no data, full bar (E). It automatically resolve itself the next morning. 🤷‍♂️

Was it resolved? Or did you had to purchase additional sim card for data?

This is pretty common issue that by the time SG telco gets back, it would have been self resolved...

Nah. Still not resolved 24h later.
I had to activate a back up esim.

My Samsung only has a preferred 4G setting. Switched to that but still the same.

Just lost S$8 (one month free now fir new number sign-up) by signing up a bit too early for the S$8 plan this Tuesday 28-Oct-2025.

:ROFLMAO:
Their one month free for new sign-up is for 5G plan only, from what I gathered earlier.

I can't find any mention about 5G plan only. :s11:

Hmm, the Facebook post seems to say the one month free offer is for any new sign-up as it does not mention 5G. It does cleary says 2 months free offer is for any 5G port-in. So for sure kosong for 4G S$8 plan port-in.

🫶2 months free for any 5G port-in!
😎 1 month free for any new sign up!

But I feel better now that you say the one month free offer for new sign-up is also only for 5G plans. :ROFLMAO:
