Eight 4G is not lagging in this case? Or both lagging.

When you compare SpeedTest Results, you may also compare latency. So it is good to post the full results.

And yes it is possible 5G is lagging whereas 4G is good. This usually happens when the 5G signal is weak.
IMHO.
Yes, it is possible to get low latency but slow speed. :ROFLMAO:

Currently have Vivifi and looking to port into Eight but the Vivifi plan is under someone else (Share plan), and Transfer of Ownership is $22.

Anyway to just open a new line with Eight wit my info using the Vivifi number under someone else name without paying them $22 to do the Transfer of Ownership?

Good bye Eight
You started with a Lion roar but half way, the sampan capsize.
Thank you for the 28-for-28 promo.
Hope you can improve in 2026.

Hello Circles.Life, here I come.

So you port out of Eight S$8 plan (effective price at S$4 per month due to the superb 28-for-28 offer) to the three months free Circles.Life 5G trial (S$12 per month after three months), right?

Nice one, very low overall cost.

HAHAHA, only to realise later that Circles is just as chui :LOL:

Put it bluntly, none of the MVNOs are super reliable. In super crowded and dense Singapore, everyone will experience poor network connectivity at some point.

Right, it's $12.30 / mth( 2 month foc)

True that.

Under M1 really cmi, I ported over to M1 Maxx and ported out immediately after 1 day.

Called Maxx as it is really unusble and their CSO said it is normal for youtube to be constantly buffering, asked me to lower the resolution to 720p or 480p :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

EIGHT web does not have $8 plan.
Are they phasing out?
If upgrade to higher plan , still can go back to $8 plan?

It has, at the bottom left.

Already ppl feedback their 5G CMI like their 4G.
Do not waste anymore time & money & energy.
Starhub needs to buck up to invest in their infrastructure instead of throttling their customers !!!!
1. increase capacity
2. increase base station on those blind spot areas.

What did Starhub do to improve the situation ? None !!!
Disagree, 5G definitely better responsiveness in loading web pages especially in crowded areas. But is it worth paying 2.25X more? No.

Just wondering how you get the "2.25X more" number?

Nominal it is one of the following:
14.8/8 = 1.75
14.8/11.8 = 1.25

But I understand the users here are very good at finding lobangs and can get the S$8 plan at lower price including the top-up offer to make it S$4 per month.

Not sure what is the best price for the S$11.8, S$14.8 and S$18 plan (without using methods like Shopee Coins).

it's not important whether you agree or disagree.
I already moved on to Circle.Life which surprisingly better than Eight.
If you not having issues, then good for you.
