For ease of line management.

Say I've 3 lines A B C. I go to the apps of B and C to choose the option to allow management by another number. Then go to the app of A to add the other 2 numbers.

Next time just need to log in to A to see and manage all the numbers.

Can. Head to a service centre say you want to change to physical SIM card. Present your ID and they'll do the rest.
