Yup, more often than not, their service centre is only a counter space. So the Eight staff won't be around even when the shop is open.

Does Eight own these shops? Coz I certainly won't want to be the person working there (selling handphones and accessories) when people go streaming in the whole weekend asking about their Eight lines.

The service centre at Pasir Ris is open on weekends. I was there on Sunday, few weeks ago to switch to eSIM for my iPhone Air. Not sure why they nvr update their opening hours.

All they need is your NRIC and number for verification and you get an instant QR code. Very fast and easy.

Using my Triple Eight plan, how much data would I have to use in Australia?

a) 36 + 18 gb (APAC and international)

or

b) 36 GB (only APAC)

Same for all other plans and i think this has been discussed before. Quite misleading

mine m1 5GO true 5G..and eight 5G..
both SIM card on diff handset..

still these same symptoms..

4 5 or 6 times a day .. connection drops for a good 10-15 seconds..then auto reconnect...

Does happen to me a few times throughout this year on the train from time to time, but not 4-6 times a day.

Probably you can give some more information like the location that it happened to you at?

Oh that's good to know. Wish they allowed you to do it online, would be so much easier

For those who downgrade from 5G to 4G, you may want to take note if your 5G is really cut off immediately or not. My colleague told me he still had 5G access after downgrading to 4G S$8 plan from the 5G S$14.8 plan.

If not, how long does it take for the 5G access to get cut off?

Or you are lucky that they keep your 5G?

I downgraded and upgrade few times.. upgrade immediately take effect while downgrade will take till till your current plan expire and start.
