If they pull out this kind then I can always port to other MVNO. Not like last time locked in to contract for 2 years. That is max value
Did anyone explicitly ask the CS if end of 88 days after port in, can just switch to $8 plan?
In case they come up with some scummy T&C like saying from $0 plan can only switch to $18 plan or something lol
I signed up for port in yesterday via their website at 10am, collected my new card around 11:30am.U R NOT ALONE... I Also.
port in yester 10.30am
Didn't know can like this also? That means can save 88 days? HahaYes I successfully port in from Heya to eight $0 plan.
there is a $0 plan from Starhub?Hi guys maybe stupid question, anyone using Starhub and took the $0 plan?
No way the $0 plan has better reception than Starhub right?

Port in successful as of 7am today, my gomo not working as of 11pm last night. My experience below:
I went over to Eight service centre UBI at around 6pm today (surprisingly no queue) to port in from GOMO sim only plan (I am a new GOMO customer for just 1 week) to $8 Eight plan.
I had previously signed up for 2x $0 Eight plan and was told that I need to cancel 1 line in order to port in.
1 line cancelled on the spot and the staff issued a new sim card to me with temporary number.
Total took me 15 min as I asked a lot of questions, I paid the service centre $8 cash on the spot. Will follow up with a reply here on how long it takes to port over successfully. As of 9pm today, both my existing GOMO and the temporary Eight number are working.
Some pointers from the staff:
- the old sim card for the Eight $0 plan cannot be reused as it is tagged to that $0 plan. Port-in numbers in this case will receive a new sim card.
- it is better to top up instead of using credit card for recurring payment (not sure why though), and the staff gave me a name card with paynow and Whatsapp number to top up.
- if you are a new customer in your existing telco, make sure to check if there are any penalties if you port out within 30 days of new sign up, like Simba with its $30 penalty.
- the staff will also check your current existing telco's billing cycle, if the next renewal cycle is in 1 day's time, very likely the port over will fail and it is at your own risk (i.e. to settle with old telco and wasting $8 to use temporary number until next cycle).
Hope this helps in any way, and I will reply here once my number successfully port over from GOMO to Eight.
Yes can. Then after 80 days or so can see if wanna continue or port to other MVNO with better deal.Didn't know can like this also? That means can save 88 days? Haha
Today is the 3rd day since I signed up for the free 88 days plan with eSim (new line). However still not able to select any options in my account. No issue in logging in to my account.
