I just logon to my account and saw that my $0 88days plan has been auto changed to "Double Eight Plan" which is the $8 plan, with current cycle expiry 12-Aug and next renewal 13-Aug. Collected my free sim on 24-May.

Anyone saw this change too?

Hi guys, need some help with this interpretation regarding IDD call.

As stated in the FAQ, does this means that if I’m in Malaysia, I’m able to pick up a call from Singapore landline FOC?

I understand the part whereby I’m able to call out to other countries FOC when I’m calling out from Singapore.

  • Does roaming covers calls and SMS?
    • Our plans do include 288mins roaming calls back to Singapore and at the destination you roam at! For SMS, there will be no issues to receive OTP but our plans do not include outgoing SMS at the moment.

Auto? Did you opt for the $8 plan or they (which I doubt) switched without informing you? They can't charge unless you've given them your payment info...

Yes auto, I didn't opt to change plan. No charges yet, not sure what will happen on 13-Aug. So far didn't enter credit card info.

Maybe a glitch ? Call and ask them.

Could not have changed plan if they have not charged you.

One possibility I can think of offhand, is someone bought a top-up plan online and put your number instead.

Tried to get one sim, and skipped saving payment details, then all the way until the end and no prompt for payment for delivery though hmm

Hello all,

what should I do so that, post port in, (to eight), my eight plan always start and reset on the very first of of each calendar month?

Background: on gym now, and keen to port in to eight with the same mobile number.

Any thoughts, suggestion and comments will be appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Buy the plan at the end of the month.

Meaning do your payment on the day you want. it always cycle 30 days

Gym? is that a new MVNO? Strong signal? ;)

Simple, eight has a 60 days inactivity policy before your eight line gets terminated. Their paid plans lasts for 30 days.

For example, 1st January pay $8. 30 January your plan ends. 31 January you don't pay, 1st February you pay, plan ends on 2 March, 3 March - 31 March you don't pay, 1st April pay $8, rise and repeat. Just remember to buy a paid plan on the 1st day of the month, this can ensure the starting date is the very first of the calendar month. Ending date is impossible to end as the paid plan is on 30 days period.
