for Port-in Date, is there any unfavourable date for billing cycle?
Maybe not port in during last day of month because if irregular days per month.
You may get to pay on 1st or 2nd of month because of this. Hard to keep track.

Most favourable is middle of month.

Wait wait ...
Can port in does not mean it will issue you the sim card.
As far as I know, the ah beng at handphone shop will do registration for you online.
It is the same as you doing online register yourself.
But it says sim collection is not at retailer.
So it might mean you need to go to service centre to collect the sim.

I just went to the roadshow today to port in to $8 plan. apparently roadshow is only for porting in to the free trial plan. if want to port in to the regular plan, need to go to retailer. lucky the retailer is also located at the same shop. the retailer help me port in and issue new sim card on the spot. hopefully port in will take place over the night.

No difference.. Port in to the $0 plan at roadshow and then buy the $8 by login to the account online.

Upgrade will take effect immediately and downgrade must wait next cycle to take effect.

I think is 14 days

I think your SH plan must not be activated less than 30 days and then port in to eight.
If not you will have termination charges for your SH.

Meaning you must not be a new user of less than 30 days for your SH ..

If a person who's no Eight line at all and wants to port to the $0 plan. Will it be FOC for 88 days, or only 30 days?

Asking for a friend. :o

I just activated my account for port in from simba. This is my $0 plan info when I login to the account.
I think for me 2024-09-17 will be my last $0 cycle plan.
