anyone has issue porting in from Simba 100GB plan to Eight Telecom's $8 plan ? i manage to activate the new sim card tonight but it is still using the temporary number and not my desired number. Not sure if i have to wait or port in not successful ?

When you apply to port in, the SIM from Eight is already activated for use with their number. Only when the port in is processed, that the SIM card will change to your own number.

$8 only?

11 pm port in .. Simba emailed me that plan is terminated.
12.45 am Simba data signal disconnected
2 am Successfully ported over to eight and sms working

Able to login to eight account with my own number at 2am.
Simba online account deleted by simba at 2am.

Hi all, for card activation start date is it right after you sing up on online or when u pop in the sim card?

some steps to follow, like enter website and enter activation code then pop in SIM card.

I thought simba only bill everyone 4 days before end of the month ?

My cycle ends 26th so have not billed me yet

I have checked with Eight before, the answer is "Currently there is no pay-per-use for roaming. Your roaming will stop when you use up the free roaming that comes with your plan."

just checking if anyone wasn't able to do a face id recognition on a phone and how do you go about it? ID can take photo but front facing isnn't opening.

I used my laptop camera and held up my ic for it to scan via web page. It works.

I pay by Giro, so I already delete the Giro standing from my ibanking.

They cannot renew my cycle.

I’d up to 3 SIMBA lines and emails received about payments charged to credit card are of different dates. Unless they changed recently, I'd say billing dates may not necessarily be the same.

The data network speed is not bad.

My loaded lag test with Simba previously is 1s which is worst than eight.

I suggest those pay by credit card to input expired credit card.
I suggest those pay by giro to delete their standing in their ibanking.

This will prevent an auto renew of cycle until they port in successfully.

I had this problem also.

I changed to chrome browser on my mobile to do the registration.

Brave browser have issue with my camera.
