Did you locked the card in the app?
It happens to me a few times, albeit for other transactions.

For safety sake, why not just buy a couple of months worth from Shopee while still linking your CC to the account
I did not download the app so cannot happen

Now I need to fix the data issue 1st

App as in the Youtrip app.
For your data issue, I recommend you to go straight to Ubi, the man works magic!
Oh, I did not lock in youtrip app, I just checked. Yesterday when I tried to check my card details in youtrip app, it did not show up, instead showed me error n asked me try again later. So I think is youtrip app issue

Can go lucky plaza instead or only ubi can help me?

Each person can only have 2 lines. So if you only have 1 free line, you've the choice to port in another line. But if you already have 2 free lines, then you've to get 1 of them terminated first, either submit online or go to Ubi service center.

At Ubi you can ask then to help you submit the termination, then port in your line for you so you can get the SIM card from them. Or you can submit termination online, wait for reply/confirmation, then submit port in. Can choose to collect SIM card from Ubi or through the mail.

Points to note :
- Ubi can only submit termination request for you. If eight doesn't process immediately, then you might have to go makan (lots of choices there) while waiting.
- If SIM card by mail, do expect delay or possible lost...

My advice would be go to Ubi.

Icic, my second sim card I gave my uncle to use... So I guess I'll have to terminate the one in using before I can port over 😞

Both are authorised service centres for 8. Your preference…

As a fellow forumer here, I advise you to spend some time reading the comments posted for the past 1-2 weeks to avoid a “night long dream more” situation.

Really need to go down to Ubi service centre?

Let's say if I want to buy a new $8 plan and port in my number at the point of sign up, can I do it at my local retailer as listed in the Retailers page?
