Really need to go down to Ubi service centre?

Let's say if I want to buy a new $8 plan and port in my number at the point of sign up, can I do it at my local retailer as listed in the Retailers page?

You might wanna check with your retailer.
as mentioned, only got 2 Authorised Service centres.

My opinion and a lot of fellow seniors here will advise you to drop by Ubi

What is the reason to go to Ubi service centre? There will be potential cockup when signing up at a retailer and porting in?

How is the network compare with zym? Thinking to port over the $0 plan for 3 months,if is good,can switch to $8 plan for Taiwan trip in Dec

Probably… LP outlet has bad reviews compared to Ubi one.

Also, I’m not sure whether porting is possible at retailer. You will have to drop them a call to find it out

How do I switch/port in to eight?

• Switch to eight and keep your existing number!
• Select ‘Port-in’ during the sign-up. You can sign up online or head down to eight retailers to sign up.
• Here is a simple guide to port in here!

Why then do they say I can do port in at retailer?

If everybody sends more than once, they lagi difficult to reply.

What's your query about?

I was going through their FB page, there're some questions which, if I'm the staff, also choose to attend to the more urgent or immediate cases first. Even saw what looked like a troll this morning.

There're ways to do things... just need to see what's the subject and how to go about it.

Or just put yourself in their shoes. If you've hundreds of emails, how would you handle them? I won't be surprised if they've thousands.

Cause its a service centre and the guy there knows his stuff, so much easier to resolve any potential issue.

If you only need to port in. No termination on existing free line. you can do it at EIGHT retailer shop.
