which provider were u using? any outstanding bills with them?

Maxx -> Sunday night activated. Tuesday ported in

ZYM -> Monday evening 7pm activated. This morning wee hours ported in

so far seems like if activate early part of the day, will get activated by the wee hours of the “same” day or if not both above takes around 2 days
What? 2 days only?

I've sent them emails but no reply on what's taking so long to port.

What's wrong with their support?

I ported on Monday. Yesterday night my VIVIFI the line gone liao. This morning I checked, my eight still using temporary number. My main number cannot call through also. Means what?

low cost MVNO ... took them 1 mth to cancel my line and replied
Took mine only a couple of days, and that's only because I didn't furnish them with the required info via email the first time round, thus the delay.

Probably bad luck with yours.

who is your previous provider?
it took 5 hours for my line to port over
Porting process happens around 11pm onwards. Sometimes slightly earlier.

Your request was sent in that evening, thus those number of hours. If you sent in about lunchtime, then it'd probably be 10 hours instead.

I did my porting online and there wasn't any issue.

Now I'm left in limbo not knowing the status of my port after a week and no replies after sending emails.

Don't think I'll recommend this telco to family members.

Seems like the immediate respond from "Eight" is to go UBI direct not doing online since 90% people are commenting they get their lines terminated with immediate action.

You do it at Ubi there's someone there to enter it into the system.

You send by email then all those thousands of emails daily have to be sorted out before distributing for action.

Makes sense? So it's just our recommendation here to head for Ubi if you want fast(er) action.

Just look at those :censored: questions posted in Eight's FB page. I can imagine what the staff have to deal with daily, including in those emails.

I've only recommended the likes of Maxx and Eight... and even Singtel promos online to people who're willing to read instead of waiting to be spoon-fed. To these people, I just give a brief and the link. Want to see or not isn't my business.

My line was terminated after repeated emails but now the same thing is happening, no status to my port in despite emailing them few times.
