Changing sim doesn’t mess up anything but iMessage and FaceTime, of which nobody really uses in sg where WhatsApp is dominant.

Not forget to mention SIM card temp no. will not be changed for porting in. Also, tethering needs to do some action before it can be used. I don't know what other hassles imposed by Apple... Last times, it was worst, audio format is only restricted to iTunes format, lightning port, etc. Things improved, yet not ideal still.

Actually if I port in online and pay the $8, doesnt it mean when I activate I will get the free $8?

No promotion code is needed across online channels and retailer outlets, eligible customers will receive $8 credits within 7 business days into the main wallet.

So I can port in online process, and when I get the sim, activate within 14 days, and get total of $8 + $8 right?

We only know that when top up $8 will get one time $8 credit free.

For your situation you have to check with eight, coz all other situations we encountered were when number already ported in.

Ikr… total 4 lines with eight.
Previously only 2 sim/pax. So wife and I each holds 2 accounts.

Definitely got savings! But the money saved nowhere to be seen!
