Is anyone experiencing slow connection from Eight?

Yes local connection is bad . But for the 8gb apac roaming just have to live with it.

Can Eight mobile plan uses any phone unlike SIMBA where only certain phone can be used?

M1 and simba are now the only telco that operates 4G and 5G.

Soon in November, singtel and starhub will shut down 3G. You WILL need a new phone that supports 4G Voice.


That is why last time simba, only certain phone can use, because simba only run on 4G network.

So please upgrade your phone if it's still 3G and don't support volte.

Eight is as bad as Singtel.
Eight has full strength but cannot connect to internet.

Simba excluded many old phones. for example my iPhone 7 Plus, even though it has VoLTE but have to download Simba voice app for the phone-calling function to work.

Simba should be better for IDD bro.

just like singtel, full signal strength but no internet.

I got the same problem outside Starhub shop in Plaza Singapura. Website loading failed and need to reload again and very slow. Lucky I seldom go there.
