as some had mentioned earlier, not anytime soon. StarHub needs products differentiation strategy between giga and eight.
giga = speed = gomo
eight = value = heya
dun think they will change their strategy any time soon but still, the 4G network is too congested to the point I had to switch to Simba during commute.
giga speed? hahaha

it is like Simba $5 plan good for seniors... so if you think SH network is good for you go get it and try it. You are not bound to contract hop around and find something you like ..

I had tried all the telco mostly atm, only a couple stands out for me

How is the experience of porting over to eight? How about porting out of eight if regret? Read earlier some people cannot port out and unable to get help.

hi everyone.
i activated my $0 for 88 days sim card on 9th september. but now the 4g has been deactivated even though its not 88 days yet. i logged into my eight account on my pc and its asking me to choose a plan. hmmm thought the choosing of the plan is only after 88 days? has anyone experienced similar?thought it was $0 for 88 days. now its only 30 days

you needed to key in a promo code to get free 88 days , otherwise it is only 30 days
very likely you didn't key in the promo code

it's too late now.
either you continue with a paid plan or let it lapse

Hey all, any former MyRepublic users here? My port-in request from MyRepublic 4G to Eight Mobile failed due to "line not active" which is bs as I'm still using that line.

I've tried contacting MyRepublic and they couldn't pinpoint the issue lol since all the details like NRIC, name, and phone number are correct and yet the request failed. They simply told me to get Eight Mobile to resubmit the request and they'll supposedly approve it asap.

Anyone kena this strange situation before?
Hey all, just to report back. Port-in from MyRepublic 4G to Eight was finally successful after checking around 6:20 AM. In the end, still couldn't find out what caused the port-in to fail aside from the misleading "line not active" error :spin:. Nevertheless, all's good now, CS teams from both sides have been very responsive.

Can I know, after you activate the sim, did you use the line after 9 September?
