In case of port-out or price increase, for instance, ZYM has a $10.10 plan which was priced at $10 initially.
Let's say I got $50 remaining in my ZYM main balance (hypothetical). How could I even clear the balance completely if there isn't the flexibility to top up to the nearest cent?
ZYM wouldn't entertain any refund request.
$10.10 x 4 months = $40.40
$10.10 x 5 months =$50.50

So if eight ever increase their price, I would be sitting on loose change if there isn't an option is top up to the nearest cent (min $1) on their web portal since there isn't such a flexibility to do so via shopee top up.

For the usual top up, I would definitely top up via shopee for the discount and coins

This is a phone feature, not dependent on the operator. You need to turn on hotspot on your phone settings.

You've to ensure it's turned on under Settings > Billing

Porting failed. How do i reinitiate? Circles.life said on their end no security turned on and everything is fine. I got a warning said porting failed number not active.

Same issue here and they asked me to settle with M1. Below is their reply. My issue was when I applied for my wife, I put her NRIC wheres in M1 she was using my NRIC hence the port in failed. In this case, is it easier to just cancel the Eight and re-apply it rather than transfer the ownership in M1 since I already want to quit from M1? Any advices would be appreciated.

Sorry, we cannot change the ID from our end, can you do a transfer of ownership at your current telco?

Meanwhile, I will refire the port in for you.

I encountered before, one of Japan telco (softbank, iirc) requires the subscriber to pay for hotspot. So when one activates hotspot, the Setting page (iPhone) launches its own browser to bring you to telco’s ecommerce page to activate, but must complete the payment first lah

for me, i put all sellers that can top-up for eight into the shopping carts.
i can see their price movements that way

Make money ma, like aome vending machine operators, ask u to deposit credit in blocks of min $1.00 but all the item sell with odd cents trailing one

This is a bit of both.
Hotspot can be both a phone function and or also a carrier limited function.

Billing is on a per monthly basis for ZYM. There is no main balance, wallet, top up, etc. I was just stating a hypothesis, using ZYM for as an example.
