If yours is a straight forward port out; Not Circle.life, phone no. in parent or wife name, no outstanding bill; just goto your nearest 8 retailer, bring IC and money, pay $8 , physical sim issued on the spot, plug sim in , next day, ported over to 8.How to port? no difference, they are both use starhud 4G
speed difference is depend on phone also, not just telco. when my phone overheat also become slow the network
if it pops , u will pay $10 lor.Moi giga 4g $10+ leh where got $15. Iirc it was pop up promo but they always have one every few months kind.
i have been using SH for a long long time..... their coverage was very bad during the early days... but has definitely improve... I ported over to Simba last month...... but the coverage in my work area is very bad...All telcos are about the same in terms of data speed dependent on the time and place; the only difference is how good the network coverage is and how much they charge for their plan. According to 8: 99.99%, the 0.01% means anything else is possible.![]()
sim card? no?
u going for esim?
you mean your existing line to eight? correct?
depends you want physical sim or esim
I already have a circles line and an eight line. I want to port the circles line number to the eight line. Already have the eight SIM card.If yours is a straight forward port out; Not Circle.life, phone no. in parent or wife name, no outstanding bill; just goto your nearest 8 retailer, bring IC and money, pay $8 , physical sim issued on the spot, plug sim in , next day, ported over to 8.

Cannot.I already have a circles line and an eight line. I want to port the circles line number to the eight line. Already have the eight SIM card.
Mine is acceptable. YT & movie streaming so far so good. Lately, there's a bit of downtime and lagging. Their CS is slightly better than 8. If 8 can improve on their CS support, they will be no horse run.i have been using SH for a long long time..... their coverage was very bad during the early days... but has definitely improve... guess all the saying abt Simba are true :
1) Can show 5G on the phone,... but the data speed is really very bad
2) very handy with the built in 7 GB oversea roam... thus far, tried Malaysia and thailand... will be trying out a few more countries till mid Jan
Circle is a PITA. Port out always have issues.Cannot.
Should be immediate, don't remember seeing an option to choose date. Anyway... https://www.eight.com.sg/faq-renew-recharge-and-billingAnyone knows how does the recharge work?

Eight is not M1 Maxx. There's no port in to existing line and reuse SIM card. Fresh port-in, collect SIM card or wait for SingPost to deliver to you. Cancel your old line if you want.I already have a circles line and an eight line. I want to port the circles line number to the eight line. Already have the eight SIM card.

- Our plans do include 288mins roaming calls back to Singapore and at the destination you roam at!

then they will not be charging $8 liao.Mine is acceptable. YT & movie streaming so far so good. Lately, there's a bit of downtime and lagging. Their CS is slightly better than 8. If 8 can improve on their CS support, they will be no horse run.![]()
you mean call roaming? they only support volte call roaming for limited countries at $8. If they allow volte call roaming for all supported countries, dont think $8 will be enough to cover all the costs to tie up with those overseas telcosEight is not only unreliable for their CS, but also unprincipled for what they've put down in their black and white.
tbh, i also dunno what he was askingSo much misinformation here.
If you already have an existing line with Eight, you cannot port in to this existing line. You can only port in to Eight at the time when you sign up for a new line.
