unfortunately it is my main line...
a few time,, i couldnot continue with my team mtg cos there was no signal once i enter the lift lobby due to no signal.

no issue with Starhub or Giga.
some of my colleagues are using M1, Singtel and gomo.. All have no complaint

if it doesn’t work for u, just dump it and try another.

There you go, found the solution right? Just port out to Starhub / Giga / M1 / Singtel / Gomo and problem solved, no need to worry about disconnection in lifts interrupting virtual meetings.

You means like burger king and domino's pizza, the app just point to their website. Lame.

Burger King Singapore discontinued their app for many years already, Domino's Pizza Singapore has a proper app now and eight mobile app is an app that has the same interface as the website.

Iphone is like that, I am using Iphone 15 pro max also weak signal at home.

Btw, You using Iphone 14? do you have Volte setting there?
Starhub users won't see volte settings on iphones >= 12 series. Volte is on by default. This is to make sure you don't accidentally switch volte off.

Also applies to M1 and Singtel users, but not for SIMBA

i just ported to Eight last week. can use to surf net and sms.

however, i am unable to make/receive phone calls. any body faced the same issue?

although i can receive sms, when i try to log in to whatsapp, it promts me that sms could not be verfied. weird.

Maybe you can try to check if volte enabled on your phone?

Eight does have some serious issues. For example they only provide a list of eSIM phones but not for those using physical SIM card. This is a quote of what they have said:

'We do not have an official device list supported for physical sim card but we do have an eSIM phone compatibility, which pretty much will work as well, you can check out these devices.'

Because the likelyhood of a phone not working with physical sim is extremely low, that's why no list

ya, my phone shows volte on top display panel.

its an old spare phone, so it could be call feature not supported?

maybe i try put the sim onto a newer phone to try
