There is a high probability that the issue lies with the phone if it encounters problems with multiple service providers. In my case, switching to a different provider's SIM card resolved the issue, even at the same location.
Can confirm it's user aka you and phone aka your phone problem, coz I've no issues with all the issues you mentioned with my phone and at the locations you mentioned, on eight and Simba.

Thanks for the response. Actually I ported over quite some time ago. Managed to get the verification code on 4 Dec. But somehow now it's not working. I will probably try again tomorrow or something.
If you are using iPhone, you may check your Junk Messages folder to see if it's there.

The same phone at the same location, with only the SIM card changed, works flawlessly with another provider until this day. However, when the original 8 card was reinserted, the issue persists, indicating that the problem likely lies with the card itself rather than the phone.

Thanks. I didn't turn on the "Filter Unknown Senders"

It seems like I can't receive any international sms (tried with https://www.afreesms.com/intl/singapore, etc). Website says it's sent but message wasn't sent through. Didn't work on my other line (also on eight) also.

if my plan expires tomorrow 19/12,

have used about 100gb
I used less than 1 GB local data and plan expires tomorrow :s13:
but I used 1.6 GB in china last month, using whatsapp and wechat pay

Hi all, I've read through the thread but couldn't find specific answer. I just received my mailed physical SIM today.

If I like my port in (from Giga) to take place on coming Friday night, should I activate my eight physical SIM tmr Thursday or Friday morning?

Sianzzz my mum for some reason got card inside account. Somehow doesn't deduct and she can't use roaming in Malaysia now. And I had to too up for her and still no signal for her :mad:

In certain shopping centres, basement or not, it can take more than 5 seconds to load up paylah. Ok if no queue behind.

coverage between SH and ST differs. It appears ST coverage suits the areas you stay/frequent/travel to, while SH does not. the often suggested approach is to find a telco with coverage that suits you and stick to them (or their MVNOs).

since you are about 1 month stay, you can consider porting back to Zym.

Yesterday applied to port over from M1.
M1 line no more signal after mid night.
This morning received sms that line ported over successfully.
Very fast!

Can you share/name which area or shopping centre?
