die die need to check daily, until the bonus credit comes in, else cannot sleep well, will worry if they got scammed.

There are many who don't realise that Eight is StarHub, not some fly-by-night operator. Perhaps they think it's a MVNO that will shut down, not a subsidiary of a main telco.

I suppose there's also a real fear that those Shopee/Lazada resellers who offer $28 top ups may not be eligible for the +$28 promo. After all, they can claim anything online to get a sale.

You have a point, especially for Shopee or Lazada resellers. Unless one can verify that the Shopee / Lazada is run by one of the retailers in eight's website, that fear is justified. End of the day people are fearing for not getting the freebie, not as if the Shopee / Lazada shop scam the $28 and never make any top ups and run away with the paid $28.

Personally I will just visit eight retailer physical store to top up. Solves the headache.

I top up from Lazada Ah Hock the first day they announce. Was not announced on eight website and fb that time. My bonus credit is now in! Exactly 7 days from topup. Have another batch I topup on sat. Maybe slower by two days.
