Yes $56 in eight telecom. Still can tahan. But looking to change to 5G.
Say if you port to Zero1 Streamo Freedom $15 per month. You pay $15 x 6 = $90. Next 6 months will be free.

Average out $90 / 12 = $7.50 per month.

You have $56 left, which gives you 7 months left. 7*$8

Try to do the math, see if it's worth to do the porting now. Like you see, you only pay $7.50 per month for 5G/ Of course, there are cheaper Zero1 plans like $12/mth

Mine also secondary plan. Nowadays only recharge $11.80 plan with remaining credits if travel overseas

for local use, I do not use eight plan

I have eight plan active now. Yes quite bad since I recharge recently
You mean can recharge only when you need instead of every month? Wouldn't the line be cut/terminated?

Recharge within 60 days of expiry date will do. No need to recharge every month.

Eg if current $8 plan expired on 31 Aug, can recharge 60 days from 31 Aug. Should recharge before 30 Oct

Tested roaming with zym. So much better than eight. Don't need bother with network switch on eight. Same roaming partner but the experience is one heaven one hell. It's them, not you. Glad I not with them anymore.

Seems like the StarHub network issue from Friday and over the weekend is resolved.

I was able to get respectable 60mbps on peak hour DTL
starhub also affected right? my another line is on starhub, i couldnt even watch youtube, whereas eight was even smoother

How is the port over process like, smooth or tough with downtime without signal? I just initiate port over from m1. Need to go down pick up Eight sim card of temp number.

Its Malaysia speed seems have sucky feedback? I more concerned about sg speed.

While overseas, how can I check my overseas data usage?

To log into Eight site, we need to enter OTP from sms

Can we receive sms while overseas?
Are there any overseas sms charges?
If I block international calls and sms, will I still be able to receive the OTP sms from Eight?

Eight also offers a passkey-based login option.
Can we receive sms while overseas?
Generally yes.
Are there any overseas sms charges?
Receiving a SMS text message is free of charge. Sending…doesn’t work while roaming internationally.
If I block international calls and sms, will I still be able to receive the OTP sms from Eight?
Blocking international calls and SMS only affects callers/senders from outside +65. Eight is sending their SMSes from +65.
