you can probably test one month if the coverage is on par with SH.. if cmi just port over to other MVNOs for cost savings.. but best is to have 2 sims 1 backup to fall back on..

Wait. Are you trying to change out of StarHub or what? Because Eight is on starhub network. You are effectively changing plan only.

Like jirachi mentioned above, if you want to move from Starhub to Eight, it still the same network.

If you just want to reduce cost, maintain on starhub and get 5G, then GIGA ain't that bad or MyRepublic 5G Plans since they are also Starhub. Only advantage EIGHT has is price and int roaming

If you hate starhub then look at others.. list not exhaustive...

Only you can answer yourself. Is your 25 SGD per month SH 4G plan ok?

Each time i transit woodlands bus interchange, both m1 and Eight have no network at all.

Adding to the other comments, you’re on a 200GB per month plan. Eight also offers a 388GB per 30 days plan for $8. If you’re age 60+ the similar senior plan is $5. One would think nearly double the data allotment would already be a lot. If you find you need more than 388GB you can pay more at that point in time.

Also, SIMBA offers $10 and (for seniors age 60+) $5 plans if you prefer SIMBA’s network.

If you want a match for your 200GB plan, but on Singtel’s 4G network (and you’re not a senior), then Zero1 can help with their $7.06/month Starter Prime plan. It also includes 200GB per month. However, if you qualify for VIVIFI’s current 9 months free port-in promotion on their Roam Asia Super plan then I think that’s a much better deal (for the next 12 months total; after that you‘d check for other deals again). VIVIFI charges as little as $45 for the 12 month period (equivalent to $3.75 per month) if you qualify for their promo, and that’s a 400GB/month plan (with 4G and 5G on Singtel’s network).

It's part of singtel strategy, to use their 3 minions (vivifi, Zero1 and Zym) to attack eight and simba.

So zym and vivifi is selected to target circles. Zero1 will focus on the other free months promo.
