Does Eight have a minimum lock in period w/o penalty fees after port in or can we just port out immediately to another telco/mvno?

I’m facing issues logging into my My Account. I can’t receive the OTP, and the passkey isn’t working either. My email hasn’t received any reply. I saw a Facebook comment under one of the posts where their CS suggested that the user visit the service centre. This is really frustrating. There’s no system in place, and the CS are just copying and pasting responses…..

Me too. Can't login using Passkey, OTP on the app or website this morning. Yesterday was ok.

Can cancel after 30days, but mention no termination fee. There have been some that port out under 30days with no charge.

Did you email them ask?

i asked since yesterday and no reply from them even until now.

but just now suddently i can receive OTP already. i think must be something wrong with their system which they are fixing it, therefore they did not even reply.

i deleted the passkey to login to eight on my iphone becos there was issue with the login yesterday.

now i could not use the passkey to log in anymore. is there a solution to this? how can i re-create the passkey again?

i search online and ask chatgpt also none of the solution worked, as eight website login has no username and password but only OTP option, i cannot manually add as well.

I too can login using OTP now but Passkey still can't login. Not sure my delete old Passkey and create new one or not.

Just wonder ca. we reuse the eSIM QR code when we change a new phone?

Or must visit service Center to get a new qr code

I just managed to receive the OTP from Eight & change the login method to Passkey. Maybe u can delete the previous key, if u have, & generate a new one.

Finally, after 3 days of being unable to log in My Account on eight, the issue has been resolved!

I just managed to receive the OTP from Eight & change the login method to Passkey. Maybe u can delete the previous key, if u have, & generate a new one.

Thanks. I managed to solve the Passkey issue by deleting the Passkey from the Password app then login to Eight using OTP. After that register a new Passkey for Eight.
