But still, during peak hour commute in EWL tunnel, was a staring contest between my phone and I. It was a draw between Singtel and Eight/Starhub,

Probably because you are not using SingTel proper but SingTel MVNO (5G NSA now).

Singtel proper has higher priority than SingTel MVNOs.

hmm okay. Singtel SIM Only Plan (SOP) sounds good then.

Just share one recent report of using SingTel SIM Only plan at the more difficult NSL underground tunnels during peak hours. It is for sure not perfect (still got glitches), but still much better than many users of Singtel MVNOs.

He is using S$19.25 per month Singtel Enhanced Lite plan (CIS offer).

Happy to report that the 19.25 plan worked rather well during this morning peak hour ride 830-9. I was able to listen to radio, read news article, Reddit, received WA. Connection broke between Bishan to Braddel which require a manual trigger to restart radio. Just leaving orchard, connection went down for like 10 secs but doesn’t require manual restart (it auto connect back).

Eight deducts from IDD minutes allowance. Once IDD allowance depleted, need to top up or cannot make incoming or/and outgoing calls while roaming. You can only place a call back to SG or within the country you are roaming in. Let's say you are in JB, u can only make call(s) to SG number or MY number. Cannot call your tirak in Thailand while jalan-jalan with your sayang in Malaysia.

Simba - Free Voice Roaming. I tried before, I can call SG and to a 3rd country while I was roaming, e.g., I can call Indo while in Malaysia.
it seems while at oversea, only Eight mobile receiving call and making call is free

Regarding the management of multiple lines from an account number.

What will happen when one terminates or ports out a managing line? Will their system automatically place a random line as manager, or all the lines will become self-managed for us to set up again?

Has anyone done that?

Any advice? Should I forfeit my wallet of $25.20 and port out to zero1 to enjoy 6 months free? Or wait until wallet finish and port in Jan?
It depends on your travel pattern, does it really affect your daily routine. For example, if you are having bad network at home, it can be offset by your home WiFi, and using VoWIFI. If your office have bad eight network, can use office WiFi and use VoWifi for calls. Your usual places of dining, transport, if eight is bad and affect your daily lifes, then I think can consider.

But if it doesn't really affect a lot, like still can complement with public WiFi, why not. Tahan till credits use finish. Times are tough

Getting a new phone for an elderly relative. They currently have eSIM on the old phone and will need to move the eSIM to the new phone (both iPhones). I thought can just email eight but it seems like need to go to service center.

If need to go service center, can I go on her behalf to get the QR code since she has mobility issues? Any form I need to fill up prior to show that she gave me permission to transact on her behalf?
