Maybe they realised if can rollover APAC and Intl qouta people would stay on the $8 or $10.80 plan and not upgrade since most people only go overseas outside the 5 countries once every 3-6 months?

if they allow that, no one will need beyond $8 and $10.80 plans.

Starhub eight $10.8 n28 was almost 5x faster than Singtel Priority n28

Singtel vs starhub n28 head to head

Managed to find a spot inside a Chinatown shop house where ST and SH both had almost the same signal strength on n28.

Singtel Priority L plan

Eight $10.8 value 5G plan

Quite disappointed with Singtel, despite having more spectrum on n28 and although I had "4x Priority" while being on the cheapest and lowest priority 5G plan possible, starhub's speed was almost 5x faster while having 2/3 idle latency.

Double confirmed that my phone did not use NR CA. Result was on pure n28 SA.

the basic data (SG+MY+ID+TH+HK) only. I think APAC and INT'L roaming data dun haf.

has anyone compared eight 4g vs 5g. is the speed difference night and day?

Back when I was using Eight along the NEL and Circle Line, 5G hardly got interruptions while 4G hardly got connection.
