Simba dunno will have 1 for 1 in future not. But 1 for 1 credit take ages to finish. Regret topping up 1 for 1 last time round for eight.

Depends on what one wants. I would like to have 50% off price plan than anything else. After which, use it for years without have to worry for any more monthly payments. 5g or 4g never mind too, as long as connection is decent during off-peak is good enough. 😁

Actually, it depends on one's usage pattern, my Samsung Tab J tablet has only 1.5gb Ram and i am using it fine as a phone, web browsing, newspaper reading and you-tubing. As for my Samsung Galaxy S7 4gb Ram, totally fine in usage, no lag, more than enough.

But as they are running on older Android OS with lesser requirements, they run well. For the present day phone and OS, 4gb Ram may be more taxing but think still doable if not doing gaming.

Starhub all along has been eyeing M1, way before Simba made the move. Given Keppel core business is not the telco industry but was forced to own it fully due to unforeseen circumstances, it is waiting for a take over desperately, to prevent M1 pulling down its share price in the long run. The likely scenario is Starhub will go back to its original plan after Simba's failure. Nevertheless, nobody knows how it will turn out, we shall see how the story goes. ☺

M1 customer service is better than starhub customer service now imo. if merge, they better improve the customer service support :o

Just bought or just ported in? Maybe setup not completely done, check again after 10am tomorrow?

No issue for my mum's port-in

3/8 - abt 10pm+ apply for port in at eight website from simba, charged $5
6/8 - received sim by postage in letterbox box, actived sim card at 730pm+
6/8 - simba lost signal at 1130pm
7/8 - port-in done at 1230am, abt to receive OTP from eight and usage details shown

From the link, the promo is already marked as ended.

The headline says "Top up $28, get $28 FREE", which means $28 top-up + $28 bonus.
If paying $28 means my wallet credit becomes $28, then technically the "$28 FREE" is just my own money being credited to my account
Then the description says it's a free $10 bonus, and the T&Cs confirm the bonus is only $10 per top-up.

So where did the other $18 go?

There is no free $28.
The headline says one thing, the details say another.
