Simba dunno will have 1 for 1 in future not. But 1 for 1 credit take ages to finish. Regret topping up 1 for 1 last time round for eight.Eight is tailing Simba behind closely, whatever Simba offers, it will follow suit. That is why this round when Simba does not offer 1-for-1, Eight follows.
Nowadays at least a 6GB ram needed for normal usage experience on android phone. If not the lag will make you a miserable user.Eight appears to be selling the 4GB RAM variant. That'll be a miserable experience. I'd pay the ~S$90 extra for the 8GB RAM variant.
Depends on what one wants. I would like to have 50% off price plan than anything else. After which, use it for years without have to worry for any more monthly payments. 5g or 4g never mind too, as long as connection is decent during off-peak is good enough.Simba dunno will have 1 for 1 in future not. Actually, it depends on one's usage pattern, my Samsung Tab J tablet has only 1.5gb Ram and i am using it fine as a phone, web browsing, newspaper reading and you-tubing. As for my Samsung Galaxy S7 4gb Ram, totally fine in usage, no lag, more than enough.Nowadays at least a 6GB ram needed for normal usage experience on android phone. If not the lag will make you a miserable user.
MyRepublic Mobile is officially under Starhub's umbrella now. All MR M1 4G subscribers will be under Starhub network, this means M1 has reduced some bargaining power in a take over deal. Guess Starhub next step is taking over M1.
https://corporate.starhub.com/about...blic-mobile-subscribers-onto-its-network.html
Starhub all along has been eyeing M1, way before Simba made the move. Given Keppel core business is not the telco industry but was forced to own it fully due to unforeseen circumstances, it is waiting for a take over desperately, to prevent M1 pulling down its share price in the long run. The likely scenario is Starhub will go back to its original plan after Simba's failure. Nevertheless, nobody knows how it will turn out, we shall see how the story goes. ☺Actually more likely Starhub will buy over MyRepublic Mobile first.
Not so sure about Starhub/M1 merger.
M1 customer service is better than starhub customer service now imo. if merge, they better improve the customer service supportStarhub all along has been eyeing M1, way before Simba made the move. The headline says "Top up $28, get $28 FREE", which means $28 top-up + $28 bonus.
If paying $28 means my wallet credit becomes $28, then technically the "$28 FREE" is just my own money being credited to my account
Then the description says it's a free $10 bonus, and the T&Cs confirm the bonus is only $10 per top-up.
So where did the other $18 go?
There is no free $28.
