But not much feature upgrades though. maybe i'll pass on that.
4K spread over 7 years of loan, quite negligible actually.

Eventually when you resell the car, you're looking at a higher 'profit' also... if you get something lesser trim, it might affect buyer's decision.

I also gave it miss. If their electric car seat came with memory, I would have take it. Cos that is the most useful function.

I could do without the auto climate control and cruise control... Which I will use very little of.

Larger Rims and sports mode... I prefer ride comfort and fuel economy.

Once again... Personal preference... No wrong answers here. 😁

Very good point on more COE will become available

Never listen to salesman talk. GST only applicable to OMV, which the impact is quite minimum. Some more is 3 years later. The one need to look up is the coming JUN revision of emission requirement. JAN on already a big impact to those car 2.0L and those well know conti brand. Once these car get price out of reach, more COE will become available. Just like current weak cat B COE status.

Yes... Good point about salesman talk. Nonetheless, there is some truth to it. Cos much of these spendings are irrational. For those sitting on the sideline or in the fence... The potential GST hike is sufficient to cause them to enter the market (or at least least... Check out the market) . Pretty much like how an event that had no real impact on company's fundamentals and earnings could cause pple to dump or buy in shares.

Many (window shoppers) may not buy. But there will a good handfull who would.

Thinking of getting either the ‘S’ or elite. Anyone has any recommendations or advice to share?

thanks for the replies. Was just wondering, what difference does the leather steering wheel have as compared to a normal one?

Comfort, grip and looks.

For 4K, it's pretty negligible IMHO of course, no right no wrong, for me, I'll go for the highest trim if the price is reasonable. 4K over 7 years really can close eyes la... just do it :D

Better mats, more servicing credits, etc, whatever you think is reasonable to squeeze from the SE lo. 1 year road tax also quite the norm these days.

Coil overs, brake kits, 18" rims, LED bulbs, dual exhausts, body kit, open pod, ECU tuning/piggyback, and if possible, add a turbo :s13:
