Hope your father can be reunited with you safe and unharmed soon 🙏

quickly get an airtag compatible tracker and sew it into his clothing/wallet/bag when he returns.

If taken public transport, should have records from his easy link card.

There will be in cam CCTV in bus also.

Then start tracing CCTV along the path where he had dropped off, Interchange, shopping centre, traffic camera etc.

You will face much problem with each of them to retrieve CCTV footage.

Print out your police report and get your IO HP number for verification when needed.

My dad in his 80s had been missing since 18 June (Wed) morning, met his peers at a coffee shop in Waterloo Street near Kwan Im Thong temple. He lost his way while trying to make his way home, and last seen riding a bus near Loyang Avenue followed by Jurong. He has dementia and other medical condition requiring daily medication,
He is wearing short sleeve in blue colour and trousers in dark colour. Police is now tracing his whereabouts, anyone who spotted him, please bring him to the nearest police station or call 93626286.
Your help will be truly appreciated, please kindly spread the word. Thank you
🙏

I think it would be best if you can attach a photo of him here.

Giving such vague info is really not going to advance much in search.

And really do invest in AirTags or something that can really help to narrow down his location. This can be something that he can carry with him all the time.

If he does have a handphone, enable it to share his location at all times.

Hope he can be found soon.

Hi TS

Yes! Wednesday morning around 915am +-

Your dad bumped into me at Lazada Waterloo MRT circle line asking for direction to the GYMM temple

So I walked with him halfway and directed him towards the temple

He looked fit at his age to me and we communicated in teochew

I remembered he told me he's already 82y+

Hope he's well and back home

If got dementia then why still let him go out alone and never arrange people to monitor him? Why must wait till missing then come and seek help? And why don't install tracker like apple tag on him? Isn't this negligence?

TS is under distress and u ask all these at this juncture?
Nothing wrong, is helping TS to be careful next time. I hope if the father is found, TS will take preventive measures to avoid same incident. It still puzzled me that with a dementia family member, no measures are taken at all. Usually people with dementia family would know what to do. Hospital and comm care volunteers got teach and advise one

U see my post highlighted in yellow.
That's the insensitive part.
There's a time and place, not at this juncture.

Nothing wrong is just a comment and a question I had in my mind I just ask only. Is a casual comment trying to understand the reason.
