I have a 48" installed in my living room. Their installation service is outstanding. The only problems encountered were my own. I should have bought the 56", as my ceiling is high. At full power setting, the strength is not ideal. The light is also not bright enough. I asked Prism and they do not sell the blades separately. If someone wants to exchange or discard their 56" blades, let me know.
Prism got 48/56” ceiling fan? Google only got prism oasis model which comes in 46/52”.

Kdk/Panasonic from jb, best balance of value and quality. Most of the local brands seem like they come from similar Chinese OEM rebranded, can see many of them have similar design that is available on taobao. Rather get from kdk/Panasonic who manufacture in-house
I am told kdk and Panasonic cui. Local no support and Malaysia need to pay for servicing

I thought there is no local support. Can share what is the good support?
The guy came in with the spare parts, fixed and went. Looked very experienced and knowledgeable of his products. not the usual shody workmanship/ cluless types you see with carousell handymen.

Hi,

Anyone can advise me where can I get this spare part from the 16 -in panasonic standing fan? Or maybe someone who is selling it for his spoilt fan?

Thanks.

For those who wants to purchase a kdk ceiling fan, just to note they will void your warranty if you use it with smart switches as it is not meant to be used with smart switches.

All KDK fans are NOT compatible with any smart switches/devices.
Your warranty will be voided if found to be connected.
Apologies as the fan was designed to pair KDK ceiling fan app and not external smart switches or smart home devices. Response given to me by kdk. Just a note for those who wants to do smart home with kdk.

I bought a bunch of KDK ceiling fans from Hoe Kee before, and installed by KDK appointed technician, neither of them mentioned anything about incompatibilities with smart switches. and I have not had any issues with the fans paired with smart switches in over a year.

Warranty issues.

Warranty issues.
To say that they are not compatible with smart switches is incorrect. And the warranty terms on the KDK sg website/webstore doesn't mention anything about this exclusion, so I'm pretty sure one can easily argue against KDK if they choose to retroactively enforce this invisible clause.

Hi guys wanted to buy a desk fan to use with my stand fan cos too hot recently,

went to see Mistral MHV1010DR
https://www.mayer.sg/9-inch-high-velocity-fan-with-remote-control-mhv1010dr.html
in store and felt it was solid then i remember about kdk.

Does KDK desk fan (A40AS) get the same credit as their stand fans? The KDK one is 2/3 the price and the lack of remote is not a dealbreaker for me but can't find much opinion on it.

I understand that for ceiling fan, need 600mm clearance to nearest light fixture to maximise airflow.

Will track light be an issue?

I was once at Best Denki, when an elderly woman asked the salesman if she could test the KOK fan 😂 She must have been enquiring about the KDK brand on display!
