If you put 10k and market down, you get to DCA at a cheaper price. So long as the market goes back up within your time frame, you still would have made.

Also, if your DCA is 100-500 per month, that is 1200-6000 per year. You would take 2-8 years to hit 10k worth. Less if market drops since you would be able to buy more with less money.
Hmm I'm planning to start small 100-500 then increase to 1000-1200 later on in my career. Time horizon maybe 25-30 years. Does that make sense?

Based on what was mentioned about fees, you may wish to reconsider monthly DCA and do it annually or semi annually instead.

I think anything in excess of $500 makes sense.

I am going to do around $2000~ every 2 months for my CPF OA investment, which translate to a 0.1% additional cost for OA investments. That is closer to a monthly regular savings plan and I dont want to look at my investment any more than that. Nice balance between frequency and cost.

Wow seems like Endowus is aiming to come up with a cash product. They are doing some survey to get feedback. Something to go against stashaway simple?!

I think T+1 is to the expectation, T+2 will be meh.

Wonder what's the expected return though. Would be surprised if they can advertise it at 1.9% given current rates cut and shift to safe assets.

Have stashaway revised their cash product projected returns??

To me i would like eg <= 1 day withdrawal. That would be nice

Some interesting points:
Endowus has S$100 million AUM and is privately funded since its founding 3 years ago. They are looking for external funding in the middle of this year.

“Endowus says the company has some high net worth and institutional clients who have put in millions. However, the average ticket size is now between $50,000 and $200,000 — and trending lower with time. This is because Endowus is winning over more individuals and their money in CPF and SRS, thereby lowering the average. The minimum commitment is $10,000.”
