Wonder how does this compare with the other platforms in terms of AUM???

Link

Some interesting points:
Endowus has S$100 million AUM and is privately funded since its founding 3 years ago. They are looking for external funding in the middle of this year.

“Endowus says the company has some high net worth and institutional clients who have put in millions. However, the average ticket size is now between $50,000 and $200,000 — and trending lower with time. This is because Endowus is winning over more individuals and their money in CPF and SRS, thereby lowering the average. The minimum commitment is $10,000.”

Eh something doesn't add up leh. Endowus only started like in October 2019?? Isn't autowealth part of the first 3 roboadvisor in Singapore?

If you are multimillionaire will you choose endowus at 0.25% or autowealth at 0.50%

Endowus probably has some institutional money too

Iirc, EndowUs has been around for some time, but had a much higher capital requirement before. Oct 2019 was when they opened to the masses.

Fund swap with endowus is happening now!! Easy choice to make hehe

The below applies to your investment towards your*CPF*goal with your*CPF OA

We have exciting new upgrades to your CPF investment portfolios! Endowus strives to continuously improve and optimise your CPF investment portfolios by introducing better funds that increase risk-adjusted returns and lower costs.

For our new advised CPF portfolios, we are excited to introduce a new passive fund that we worked hard to bring to you.

The Infinity Global Stock Index fund is a fund managed by Vanguard that passively tracks the performance of the MSCI World Free Index, which is the benchmark index for global developed market equities. The CPF Board has just included the fund and it is available exclusively to Endowus clients only, and at the lowest cost available.

With the inclusion of this new fund into your CPF equities portfolio, our recommended portfolio will be made up of a total of four SGD-denominated funds, with two being Vanguard managed passive funds. These are the first two passive funds made available to CPFIS investors in their OA accounts. It is also the lowest cost and best-performing among CPFIS OA investable equities funds. These funds help to reduce costs, improve returns and reduce volatility and tracking error for the overall equities allocation. Thereby further improving the globally diversified low-cost portfolios that Endowus provides to you.
Take advantage of the benefits of the new portfolio by accepting the recommended change. For more details related to the equities portfolio changes including historical performance and portfolio characteristics, please refer to a more detailed analysis by clicking on*this link.
Note: The 100% bonds CPF investment portfolios are unaffected by this recommended portfolio change.

Log in to accept/reject your new target asset allocation.

Ehs, for those who chose to accept the fund swap, can I check is it due to the lowered trailer fees?

Since my current CPF portfolio is at close to a 10% paper loss, wouldn't swapping from the pre-existing 'Harris Associate Global Equity Fund' to the newer 'Infinity Global Stock Index' result in actually realizing the loss instead?

I accept it because it's an indexed solution, meaning it's cheaper in fund expenses, more diversified, and greater assurance of returns.

We are also selling a fund that has done poorly short term, to buy a fund that has done poorly short term. This is due to covid, sell cheap to buy cheap is fine. I also realised losses. Realising losses is nothing if you are selling lousy stuff to buy something better.

Nope to cpf. Considering endowus for srs instead

I concur to this point. Currently CPF-OA offers 2.5% risk-free rate when global bonds and even SSB offers 0 - 1%.
I would rather keep my OA funds aside unless there is a market sell-off similar to 2008 and asset prices become attractive.

Even for SRS and Cash investment, now would be a bad time to over-expose yourself into US equities.

do you all perform a recurring monthly investment or one time? i do note that CPF IA will charge 2.68 per transaction.

This mean that u already lose 2.68 to the bank for performing such recurring txn every mth

Just wondering what you guys are thinking for SRS investment?

Does it make sense to go with Endowus Dimensional World Equity fund at 0.83% or Lionglobal S&P 500 at 0.7% (using Poems)?

For SRS, I am inclined to go with Lionglobal S&P.

One-time investment so far. May make another one-time investment sometime later this year.

No leh, Endowus Dimensional Word Equity Fund only comprise around 55% USA, while LionGlobal Infnity S&P is 100% USA.

There's a case to go with the World Equity Fund for added diversification, but in a new world of technology and skills, personally I prefer to just go with 100% USA instead.

Eh you never know when US will do poorly, why not just be globally diversified?

Anyway I think dimensional funds are not accessible elsewhere, as cheaply, where there are so many cheaper better options for sp500 lol.
Going with dimensional for SRS definitely.
