is it wise to invest 100% or 75% of your investable OA ? Willing to take on highest risk since still 'young'
100% after first S$20,000 in 100% equities advised portfolio for myself. I was already doing that on my own in other platforms but with a smaller US exposure. Shifted to Endowus for a bigger US exposure.

In the 100% equities advised portfolio, they are holding FSSA Dividend Advantage. It is a solid investment with CPF. Fund Manager is Martin Lau.

Anyone can recommend a good resource to read up on how to find a broker or entity that does CPF SA investment? I see many articles about CPF OA but not SA. Even DBS website has no clear instructions how to setup. Is the bank specific CPF-IA account shared between OA and SA usage? Assuming I have > 40k SA now and wish to invest the excess.

SA doesn't go through the CPF-IA, there is no need to setup. Just use FSM and can just buy, they will just use your NRIC number to find your SA and get the money.

SA is 4% risk free.
You must be pretty confident of your returns to choose to invest it instead of just taking the 4% risk free.

In theory, over 20 years, there's a high chance the global or US index funds can beat 4%.

The problem is CPF Board does not allow you to invest in it. The remaining options dont stand a gd chance of consistently beating 4% in the era of low returns.

Anyone has the detailed agent bank service and transaction fees breakdown charged per calendar year for CPF-OA investment? For DBS or OCBC. Assuming only 1 fund invested through Endowus.

Someone asked before b it ocbc posb or uob, so long by cpfis, same charges by these major banks

It depends on what u r buying instead
Some uses it to buy stocks
If funds ref to:

https://www.uob.com.sg/web-resource...cial/cpf-investment-account/CPFIS-charges.pdfOct 2020, Removal of CPF Investment Scheme Sales Charges alrdy…. In the past we need to pay such exorbitant expenses to banks or brokers

Since u brought this up-
Less is alwys more:
When Endowus first offered its CPF investment offering in October 2019, Endowus was already compliant to the new structure, by not imposing a sales charge and charging a low 0.4% p.a. wrap.

Endowus also enables access to better performing funds into the CPFIS investable universe. The Infinity US 500 fund and the Infinity Global Stock Index Fund are exclusive to Endowus.
(Less is more alwys rem)

https://endowus.com/insights/content/images/2020/10/CPFIS-most-diversified-funds-comparison-1.PNG
As seen from the above table, the Endowus exclusive funds are more diversified, through greater number of underlying holdings and lower concentration in the top 5 holdings. Over a long investment horizon, greater diversification can bring in higher returns and lower volatility.

Endowus lowers CPF investment costs with trailer fee rebates
Fund management activities are not innately expensive; it is the cost invovled with the distribution of funds that are expensive. The total expense ratio of retail share class of CPFIS products have an in-built trailer fee. These fees are deducted from the investors’ fund assets to pay the distributors (fund platform, financial advisors and banks). By rebating trailer fees and only charging a wrap fee of 0.4% p.a., investing in Endowus is even lower than DIY investing platforms.

Is what Endowus calling "satellite portfolios" a new product offering or just a case of old wine in a new bottle? Basically where a combination of existing funds is put together by the company in some proportion that they have some reason for, instead of us having to choose the funds and their proportion ourselves?

yes I did too. seems like the underlying is the same i.e. 99.59% in vanguard global stock index fund. this new C class fund was launched few months ago nia and from the email they sent it seems endowus would be replacing our existing one with the new 1 (for new customers I guess) going forward with the new one having slightly lower cost

Can anyone share which is better?

To use CPF OA to invest into STI ETF with only 0.3% expenses ratio. Or invest in Vanguard total stock with Endowus which need to pay 0.4% fund access fees and + plus 0.4% expenses ratio ( not sure if the vanguard infinity expenses ratio did i got it correct tho, refer to link below) equals almost = 0.8% p.a. versus 0.3% for STI ETF.

bros can share your opinion?

If u believe in SG GLCs, choose STI. If you believe in the world doing better than SG GLCs, you choose endowus lor. The 0.4-0.5% diff is not sig.
